I received my refund from IDI because their name was on my credit card statement, I was not getting anywhere - all Summit did was stone wall, strong arm sales, rude, argue, a company that appeared not to communicate between departments or between affiliate companies providing service. IDI gets all the credit for providing refund. Summit wasn't even aware that I had received a refund. Two weeks after I received my refund I received a letter from Summit that I was to sign releasing Summit & all affiliates and upon their receipt of this signed letter, they would then send me a refund. One last attempt to say sign this or we won't give you your money back. I filed a lengthy report of my experience. Jim & Erik were none to happy about it either, calling to provide added pressure, harrassment & threats over the phone. Unbelievable -- anyway -- The main reason I am writing today is I read a small rebuttle (on someone elses report) by Colton Moody that stated they have many success stories from those that chose to work hard. That is really funny. When I asked Jim to provide some of these success stories, he replied, " We don't do that. " According to FTC regulations, when a consumer is contacted with a sales pitch, the seller is to provide at least 10 customer names (with addresses and phone numbers) that live closest to the newly contacted consumer so that the consumer can actually follow up & interview these contacts before making a commitment & finalizing a sale. Summit Consulting didn't do that for me. They didn't even identify themselves. They presented themselves as Auctions for Income Success Team, so we thought we were talking to the folks at Auctions for Income - NOT TRUE !!!! They promoted IDI as it had a satisfactory rating with the BBB but didn't tell me they/Summit had an UNSATISFACTORY rating with the BBB. Long story short - they made outragous earnings claims, investment would be recouped in 30 days. After the sale all I heard was how my losses would be a tax advantage. Talk about opposites. Subjected to multiple sales tactics. The initial investment didn't cover everyhting like they said & promised. Too many discrepancies and hidden costs. Attorney's office said this company appears to participate in unfair trade practices. My story is all too similar to many others that have reported Auctions for Income, The Summit Group/Summit Consulting, The Tax Club, Stores Online, Online Supplier, Professional Consulting Services, PMI Coaching, NMR Coaching, Bright Builders, Quicksite Builder, Links 4 Trade, etc., a lot of different names, some are the same companies under new names, sometimes keep the business name but move to different suites, cities, and states. If anyone asks you for hundreds &/or thousands ? easy answer = NO. I read another report that said IDI no longer does business with Summit Consulting. Who is the computer system software provider then? Who ownes the Quicksite Builder or Bright Builder software and backs up the computer services? Is it Online Supplier which is NeWave which is still IDI???? Is it Stores Online??? All have been or still do business via Professional Consulting Services or PMI Coaching or NMR Coaching. PMI & NMR sites sell Stores Online banners. Still so many questions?????? Consumers beware !!!!! FYI Greensboro, North Carolina
