Sun Suites Extended Stay Hotels ROACHES, and more. They did not even respond!!!! Plano Texas

The following letter was e-mailed to Sun Suite and their Group Manager after our stay. To date I ave yet to hear from anyone with this organization.

"My wife and I stayed at your Plano Texas location on Ruisseau Dr. on Saturday and Sunday, February 23rd and 24th , room 241. To our disgrace, the room was infested with German cockroaches. I removed the 1st one and did not mention it to my wife, however when she got up in the middle of the night to get a drink she saw one. The following night when we arrived back to our room after a long day of doing things, upon entering we saw many roaches scatter about. These roaches were at both nightstands and around the refrigerator, stove top and sink. In fact I went as far as to pull out the refrigerator and found where they are nesting.

Two reason we selected your location for our stay was 1) Smoking was allowed, but ash trays were not provided so we used a bowl. 2) Your location also had a kitchenette. We had planned to cook in our room but that rapidly change once the roaches were discovered and the fact that there was not any cookware. Only 2 plates, 2 bowls and 2 cups.

To top things off, house keeping did not come by on Sunday to replenish anything, no shampoo and there was not any coffee packets provided with the coffee machine. Maybe these services are not provided at Sun Suites, but every place I have ever stayed while traveling does provide these items.

One final note, I could only laugh when my wife decided to check for any messages on the in room phone, and one message was date in January from the front desk stating that they would have their pest control spray as soon as possible. Apparently this roach problem is long standing.

Please note that we will not use another Sun suite, due to the known roach problem by your staff at this location and mostly because when I reported this , not even a "I'm sorry" was given.
