Sun Tan City DO NOT TAN HERE!!!!! THEY RUN A COMPLETLEY UNETHICAL BUISNESS AND THE OWNERS ARE SHAMLESS!!! Lexington Kentucky

I was recently dumb enough to walk into a Sun Tan City location in Lexington, KY. I wanted to get tan about a month before spring break and for some reason I thought it would be a good idea to put 500 watt HPS bulbs inches away from my face before I went on spring break. I walked in and the girl explained to me that she wanted to show me their beds before I signed up. She walked me around and ran her mouth a mile a minute the whole time she was walking me around. When she started explaining to me about how their memberships worked I got really confused and for good reason. Their job is to confuse you so that you don't know what your getting yourself into. I even told her I was confused and that what she had said to me didn't really make a whole lot of sense but I just told her that I wanted to tan for 1 month. I gave them my credit card and signed up. They put me in a bed for 7 minutes. I wore eye protection but the next day my right eye was fried. It felt like someone had punched me in the eye really hard. You could tell it had been burnt just by looking at it. I went back in and told them I wanted to cancel my "membership". They told me that they would still need to bill me another $40 on top of the $40 they had already just billed me because they are required to bill me twice under the contract I signed? They could of cared less about my eye or any damage that was caused. I called their customer service number and got the same response. This is a really shady unethical business that makes a lot of money off of the "fine print" that is in their "contracts" that you sign. Keep in mind I didn't ask for a refund. I just didn't want to be billed a second time that I didn't know I was going to be billed anyways. I am going to see a doctor in 3 days to get my eye examined. They said if I fax them in the report and damage was done to my eye that they would not bill me the second time(how nice). Anyways what goes around WILL come around to the owners of this company who's names you can find on the internet as I have. Tanning isn't healthy but if your going to do it, don't go here.
