 Through a Timeshare program, we paid $200 by cashier's check to book a 2-nights and 2-tickets accommodation, and when we found they requested an additional $500 from us, we thought it was too much and wanted our money back. They deducted $50 as processing fee and the remaining $150 could not be refunded but could be issued as travel credit. We tried to book a 3-person bus tours ($49/person) to San Diego, and they first said no bus tours are available (when in the letter they mailed us they specifically said bus tours are options), and they didn't give any effort to book this bus tour for us (the other travel company in CA said they never got their calls to book their bus tour). We pressed them to make reservations, and now they are saying they cannot issue company checks but can only use company credit card to pay the other travel company and the 3% additional processing fee must be paid by us (we are almost giving up, so we agree to that). But now again, they are sayiing they need to charge an additional $49/person for reservation, totally $98 a person, that is, a double fold just to redeem the $150 credit remaining from the original $200 we paid in the form of a cashier's check. Imagine going to a furniture store paying $1000 for a piece of furniture only the find out that they wouldn't give you the furniture without charging another $1000 or they won't give you the piece of furniture. If you think Sun Travel is a good company, feel free to get cheated. I am done with them and referring them to Better Business Bureau to resolve this scam. I think Sun Travel is only waiting for the $150 credit to expire so they don't have to do anything for us, and I've lost so many minutes on my cellphone (my husband couldn't deal with them anymore, so he told me to deal with them, and I encountered resistance from them repeatedly with them either lying or screaming in my ears or attempting to cheat more money out of us).  They were actually very proud of their cheating ways and said "our upper management would stand with us and you are more than welcome to resolve this issue through BBB".  Imagine a company so proud of their dishonest way of dealing with customers.  Good luck dealing with such dishonest company. I hope you won't be told when you paid for a tour only to find out that an additional full payment is expected from you before you can go on a tour (and no, you can't get your money back from the original amount you already paid).

FYI, the BBB rating for Sun Travel is "F" and I guess Sun Travel is very proud of that. To do business with a company, what I expect is at least the basic exchange of money and product as advertised, and so far, Sun Travel is getting the money as bait without giving out the product without additional charges.  I've been cheated before by a refinancing company (more than $2000), and that business was closed down. I seriously want dishonest businesses like Sun Travel to be taken out by law enforcement agency to avoid future frauds. If they cannot provide services they promised, they should at least refund the money in full. Not only wouldn't Sun Travel do that, they would request more money to be put in just to get the original services they promised, and if you try to pursue the case with them, they hang up on you.  I have already called the NJ Attorney General's office to see if this business can be taken out ASAP.
