I received a check for $4700.00 along with a letter that I won a contest. They asked that I pay the $2800.00 taxes but the rest was a down payment for the 450,000.00 that was to be mine for a contest I won. I did some check with the Tyco Electronics Corp. and nobody there knew anything about the check. So I went online to check out Sun Trust Finance Inc. That when I read the letter about this being a fraud. I just don't want anybody else to get ripped off. What a terrible thing that could be for people on a fixed income. However the letter I read on line didn't say anything about getting a check, only about paying $2800.00. I may take this check to the bank and expose them as frauds.
