A warning to all persons or companies considering doing business with SUNIVEL CHEMICAL COMPANY LTD of LONDON. We are a producer of Chamois Leather located in New Zealand. In late 2007 we were contacted by Sunivel offering the supply of a chemical we had been trying to source in China through WUHAN XINGING CHEMICAL CO LTD, No 1 Guyixiao Rd, Qiaokou District, Wuhan (Jack Zhou) Wuhan Xinjing Chemicals introduced us to Sunivel and therefore are associated with this rip off.

Sunivel offered to supply the chemical that we were sourcing at a given price C.I.F New Zealand. We agreed to all terms including 40% payment up front subject to sighting a copy of the Bill of Lading and invoice. The money was transferred to Sunivel's bank account and we believed the produced had been shipped from Shanghai, China, in accordance with the documents received.

Approximately 3 weeks later we were made aware that the product that we had ordered, received paper work for and paid 40% of was not on a ship heading to New Zealand. When Sunivel was contacted we were told that the product had been return to China because they had not decleared that the chemical was a dangerous goods and that they would refund the deposit amount of $7,200.00. As at 15 October 2008 ( 1 year later ) we have not received a refund not will Sunivel or Wuhan Xinjing Chemicals respond to correspondence.

To all those considering doing business with either of these companies, don't. There are many good and honest companies world wide who will honour and committ to good supply and service, don't use companies such as Sunivel and Wuhan Xinjing who's primary objective is a rip off.
