I received an e-mail from "Alan Avery" who found my resume on monster.com and solicited me for a financial manager position. I checkout out the company Sunny Investments, and at the time could not find any negative information (now that this is all over I have been able to, but at time time there was none). They even had Bank One listed as an affiliate on their website, along with other respected companies like Cisco Systems.

They were to put money into my bank account, and I was to wire it to different individuals from different Western Union and Money Gram locations. I even spoke with a legal professer on the matter, and she said to be sure I saved everything in case something fradulent was to occur, but it could possibly be OK.

So I started completing tasks for the company, 4 times to be exact. The total amount was over $36,000 and I made over $2,000 myself in commission. The money came into my account from an "ID Technology Corp", not Sunny Investments.

Then all of a sudden one Monday my bank account was negative $36,000+. They had tried to debit all 4 amounts that they had placed in my account. I contacted my bank, and because I had saved everything, my money was refunded. I also contacted the FBI, who were aware of the scam but apparently not doing anything about it. The lady there even told me I was "screwed" and not getting my money back.

Well, I did, and I think it's a real shame the FBI has not made any attempt to warn American citizens about this fraud. They are not the governing agency in the UK, whose laws it stated on the contract govern Sunny Investments, so there is no reason not to get the word out in this country.
