How to avoid phone scams and keep your money!

I received a similar call ... There was an offer of a 5 day vacation, which would have been attractive to me if I had the money to spend. But even with that, I would have required something in writing before giving out $300 and my bank account info. It's as simple as that: NEVER give out your bank account information over the phone! After simply asking them to send me something in the mail that I could sign, they hung up.
