I purchased $5000.00 worth of gold coins from Robert Howard at Superior Gold Group on Oct. 30, 2009. I was promised via contract that the purchase would be delivered within 7-45 business days. I have yet to receive my order.

After being mistreated via telephone by manager Art Jackson, I was promised by Bruce Sands that my shipment would be Fed-Ex'd OVERNIGHT. To this day I still have not received my purchase, and have not received a return phone call.

The Better Business Bureau has currently rated this company with a "F" and states:

Our opinion of what this rating means:

We strongly question the companys reliability for reasons such as that they have failed to respond to complaints, their advertising is grossly misleading, they are not in compliance with the laws licensing or registration requirements, their complaints contain especially serious allegations, or the companys industry is known for its fraudulent business practices.

My next step is to file a police report. I challenge Superior Gold Group to prove that they operate professionally.

Bruce Sands tries to follow through on his agreement

AUTHOR: marissa - (United States of America)

POSTED: Monday, January 18, 2010

After posting my original rip off report about Superior Gold Group, my husband and I received a "courtesy call" at 7:20 pm from Bruce Sands that very same day. He stated that we should have received our purchase and that he was looking forward to doing more business with us. He followed up with this email:

Your coins were fed-exed and should have been recd today. I do not have total control of outside entities. I did commit to Saturday morning, on the outside by Tuesday of next week. I have seen your posting on ripoffreport. You have not granted me personally the opportunity to handle your concern beyond the outside scheduled date of Tuesday January 19th, 2010, the earliest being today. The matter or posting may be retracted by you and or amended. Please do so upon receiving your order. By the way, your threats of disparagement against us have not been complied with according to your account agreement. Please read it carefully and  reconsider your position. Obviously I do have a concern as I gave you my personal number. I did not get your message until tonight at 9:30 pm as I am in the office to follow up. Again, I apologize for the inconvenience. I pray you will receive this in good spirit. Your coins were fed-exed and should have been recd today. Call me at your convenience, you have all my numbers.

Cheers,

Bruce Sands

Today is Monday, January 18, 2010 and our coins arrived this morning. After carefully opening the package in front of witnesses and an appraiser (while video taping the process) it was found that there were 15 gold swiss francs and a receipt stating that we had paid $328.80 unit price with a price per ounce of $1045.00. According to our appraiser, todays current gold price for our coins is $ 1134.50 per ounce making them worth $240.81 per unit.

$240.81 x 15 coins= $3612.15

As I stated in my original report, we purchased $5000.00 worth of gold coins. We are  left with a net loss of $1387.85.

Although we have finally received the product, I must admit that the months of worry, and duress have left us with an expensive lesson to learn. I am convinced that the only reason we EVER received any product from Superior Gold Group is due to the fact that we threatened Bruce Sands with involving law enforcement, media and any other means necessary just to get our money back.

***PLEASE LEARN FROM OUR MISTAKE !!! BUY GOLD LOCALLY AND IN PERSON FROM ANY DEALER IN YOUR AREA... BUYER BEWARE!!!

In closing, looks like a $1300 lunch is on us Mr. Sands, ... Good luck to you in the future. Cheers.
