I am a former employee of this place who was hired to conduct high pressured sales calls when distressed homeowners called in from the fraudelent snap-pack mailer.  The company would change their toll free number frequently on the mail solicitation to evade detection from government agencies.  Here is what the mailer looks like and if anyone gets this in the mail, send it to the California attorney general or the attorney general of your state.  I quit working for this boiler room organization because of the deceptive activity.

Mail soliciation language below.

Front of mailer says "Payment Review Notice" and "NOTICE REGARDING YOUR LOAN WITH ".

Inside, the header info says it's from the "Home Retention" department, and then continues: "PAYMENT REVIEW NOTICE" and "A recent review for your property has determined that you may be eligible to receive immediate assistance. Your loan has been reviewed by our department and your current loan may be subject to a lower interest rate, principal[sic] reduction, HARP 2.0 Refinance or Elimination of 2nd Mortgage.   is one of the approved lenders authorized to offer aggressive loan workout options to qualified borrowers. This is a big incentive to help move loans to other programs. Under the specifications of this program your current mortgage would have a new monthly payment of $xxx.xx or less.* "

It then goes on to provide (your original) Mortgage Amount, New Rate, New Mortgage Payment, and gives an eligibility code and toll-free number (800) 900-0106 (or whatever new number they starting using for incoming calls).

In fine print at the bottom: "The information was obtained through public records. We are not affiliate of, nor associated with or any government agency."

I later found out that the mail piece is more than illegal in most states and most people who called thought they were calling their bank.  We were told to "lie" to callers and tell them that their bank sent those pieces with our phone number on it for assistance.  That was a lie!  Banks do not refer their own clients to sales people to charge fees.    Most homeowners I saw were starting to lose their homes and I wanted NO part of this place as I'm sure they will get a visit from the FBI soon.

Shame on Support Law Center for doing this to people.

Support Law Center worked hard for us

AUTHOR: Dona - ()

POSTED: Monday, November 10, 2014

In the state of Massachusetts it is illegal to pay a bank for help with mortgage modifications, etc. However, it is not illegal to pay anyone else to help with filing a modification.

We received a notice from Support Law Center offering there services and accepted. To date, they have filed all the necessary paperwork. Our claim was denied by the bank because they did not have an up to date profit and loss statement. Support Law Center was on top of this. They contacted us, sent us a form to fill out and submitted it to the bank. Although the bank received this new statement, they dropped the ball and did not reopen our case. Ultimately, I contacted the bank and they admitted to receiving the new statement and reinitiated the modification.

The bank praised Support Law Center for sending in all the documents and for doing their job. So, hopefully in 30 -45 days we will hear back with a response.
