Sussex Manor Apartments Dishonest, Unsafe, Unsanitary, Discriminatory Orange Texas

So, when I originally told them I was moving she told me I had to give 30 days notice. I wrote a letter stating I would be out of the apartment by August 5th (30 days). A different lady called me on the 28th of July to tell me 'sorry, that lady was new, you actually have to be out by the 1st'. Ok. That's annoying, but fine. I moved out everything by the end of the day July 30th. I turned in my key today (the 1st) and she claimed the following:

Because I turned my key in on the 1st I owed the entire month's rent (599$)
I would have to pay 200$ cleaning fee because I didn't pay a deposit when I moved in (I definitely did pay a deposit plus 250$ pet deposit a few months ago)
They would charge us 40$ per bag of trash (4) we left by the door that I didn't have time to haul to the dumpster today because i had to work (40$ for a 2 minute trip per bag? **** I need that job)

Not only all that ****, but we haven't had a working oven or fridge for over 5 months resulting in having to microwave food and using a mini fridge. The times our AC and heater went out both took over 3 weeks to resolve too. There is also not nearly enough parking in the lot because they tried to paint 2 fire lanes, which is illegal. There is supposed to be enough parking for 2 cars per apartment, there's barely enough for 1 car per apartment. They're being sued for that.

So she stated because the lady was new it wasn't their fault they messed up our move out date and that she would send me to collections for the rent, the cleaning fee, and the trash hauling fee. I told her I would get a lawyer if I had to, but more than likely I'm just going to say **** it and let it hit my credit. What can I do? I don't have any money and they can change the paperwork to say whatever they want, apparently.

Other issues with the complex:

Lack of security/porch lighting, feral cats, animal feces on sidewalks and balconies, locked laundry rooms after 9pm with no airconditioning and very unclean, no deposit box for rent and they do not accept checks or cash only money orders (pay fee at purchase) or credit/debit (they charge a fee for), zero guests allowed in pool and it is randomly locked with no explaination, general landscaping and upkeep is horrible with weeds and stagnant pools of water all over, bannisters/railing/stairs unsafe and rusted or broken, very high crime area with police being in the lot almost every day.
