Do yourself a favor and run screaming from Swanky Outlet. 


My wife found a beautiful quilt on their website and wanted to buy it. So I placed an order via the swankyoutlet.com. Things seemed ok. Then I received an email stating that my billing address didn't match my credit card address and that my order was being cancelled. I thought I had made a mistake so I double checked my addresses as listed on my original order, but they were correct. I thought it a glitch, so I re-ordered the quilt making sure to use correct addresses just as I always do with online shopping. A short time later I received an email stating that my address was wrong again and the order was again being cancelled. It was very strange. I knew the addresses were correct so I attempted one last time to purchase the quilt and that's when I got the phone call. 


Barry from Swanky Outlet called my cell phone to tell me he was not going to be able to sell me the quilt. He STILL was claiming my address to be wrong. I tried to tell him repeatedly that I had checked with my bank and that the addresses were correct and that something must be wrong on their end. He did not hear me. So, he was very stubborn and kept insisting that I call my bank to speak to someone about this address issue. So, to humor him, I did. I called and spoke to someone at my bank and found that the address was correct. It had been all along. So I gave up. I should have given up earlier, but my conversation with Barry made me persist. I really wanted to find the problem, however, the problem had been Swanky Outlet all along. I don't know why they kept canceling my order, but it was not because my billing addresses did not match like they claimed. So I moved on, but then the harassing emails started. 


I received several emails from someone at swanky outlet who claimed that my home address did not exist. They even included links to a google map search of my home address. (which was really creepy) They were now even using the name of my apartment building and claiming that it did not exist. I had never told them the name of my building. The only way they could have got the name of my apartment complex is from their own google search of my address. Sure enough, when I clicked on the links and examined street view, my apartment building and street number was clearly visible. The folks at Swanky Outlet were still trying to tell me that my home address did not exist despite the search results that indicate that it did. It was like they were showing me a picture of a clear blue sky while trying to convince me that the sky in the picture was purple. 


I don't know what else to think other than the folks at swanky outlet are absolutely INSANE. Like most folks these days, I do a lot of online shopping and I have never had an experience like this. I will NEVER buy anything from swanky outlet.
