I would just like to let it be known to potential clients of Anastasia Stevenson and Sweet Dreams Weddings to beware that she is completely unprofessional and unprepared when it comes to planning and executing "dream weddings". She portrays herself as a professional wedding planner on her website http://www.savannahweddingdesign.com/ with a professional staff. Her "staff" appears to be her family members, several of which are teenagers who are rude and unhelpful.
The ceremony was a disaster with little preparation and planning on her part, I am surprised it actually started on time, as she and her "staff" were rushing to get it all together at the last minute when I had called her the morning of and they supposedly had started to set it up hours before. They kicked my groom and his attendants out of the cottage where they were trying to dress because they "needed to finish cooking." So much for the professional catering!! The food for the reception was covered with flies, no covers at all, and only a huge fan to "keep the flies away."
I served cake to our guests myself with the help of my family when requests for help from the unhappy teenagers were repeatedly ignored.
The semi-formal photography that is included in her all inclusive package is a family member with a Nikon and did not even get ONE half decent shot of my husband and me. Needless to say, it is very amateur photography and little work was done in editing the photos. I was promised black and white/sepia pictures and all I have is one of each. My friends took better pictures with their digital cameras! Also, the photo cd got "lost" in the mail TWICE.
Although the fresh flower arrangements were nothing to complain about, my bouquet was nothing elaborate, just a dozen roses tied together with ribbon. I was given the impression it would have been fancier. The men's boutonnieres were huge rosebuds and frankly looked silly because of their size.
All in all it was not a nightmare of a wedding, but very far from what I and my parents were expecting: a professional wedding planner and staff who promised a dream wedding. We feel we overpaid immensely for what we received. Beware!

UPDATE as of 2013 .
This is a fake post by a competitor. as you can see, the original poster NEVER responded to me , with details and pictures, a contract etc. Also, the fake post regarding the governor's office. The Governor's office ruled in FAVOR of Anastasia stevenson and Sweet dreams! So this is a competotor using Rip off report to smear our name!
Rip off reports cannot be removed! That is the worst part, because people think this post if factual, when it is NOT.
I have never been charged with or found guilty of theft, scams, etc, ever.Our business is thriving and has never faltered. I have a wonderful rapport with the Governors office and am still doing weddings, with their blessing.

I am pleased to hear justice has been (partially) served on this matter and some of the brides will be repaid. I only hope no other brides will allow Anastasia to ruin their big day with her false promises and unprofessionalism. She is a FRAUD and should not be allowed to conduct any type of business, ever, under any assumed name.

I, too, am a victim of this fraud. And The Georgia Governor's Office of Consumer Affairs got invovled because of some many vicitims the woman took advantage of.
Look on the Better Business Bureau's website as well. She has a D rating.
The GA Gov's Office contacted me today to inform me that she was found guilty, and that I, and several of the other people involved, will be getting some of our money back. So what does that tell you about her practices? STAY AWAY FROM HER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i am very sorry to hear all of this. I really thought it wa a false review, if not, please contact me immediately regarding when and where this event took place.
I did not have an event with you. Nor did anyone in my company.
My ex- manager did leave and start another company with her mother and sisters.. they all look alike. She had my business phone and used the leads that came in to steal clients and do their own events. She must have led you to believe you were working with us!
This makes sense because you say they were young and seemed inexperienced and looked alike!
Can you please give me the details, the venue, the price that you paid and how you paid for this event. It is Fraud for her to have led you to believe it was with my company! Look at what has happened, you had a terrible event and I am getting the negative review from an event I never had. I have never had a bride named Patricia!
Do you have pictures?
Any information that I can use to take to my attorney would be greatly appreciated!

Let it be known: I am NOT a competitor. I have nothing to do at all with professional event planning and as far as I am concerned neither should Anastasia Stevenson. I entrusted the most important day of my life to her as a CLIENT and simply stated, I was not satisfied and truly disappointed with her unprofessionalism. The past cannot be undone, but hopefully future clients of Stevenson will beware!

The photographer does not have a nikon..On and on.. Obvious slander. Please visit my site to see real reviews by clients.
