SweetWater Pottery By Susan Minyard ripoff Mansfield Missouri
*REBUTTAL Individual responds: Fraudulent Report
I ordered several pieces from this Company. When I recieved them, one piece was broken and no Insurance information was present. I was dissatisfied with the entire craftsmanship of ALL peices. I returned them for a refund.
Miss Minyard replied that I would have to deal with the Post Office for the broken piece whether I was happy with the product or not.
I received a check several weeks later for a partial refund. The broken piece wasn't even returned to me.

Fraudulent Report

I had no idea this complaint was on the web. The sale happened several years ago while the individual who ordered the pottery was overseas serving his country. I sent the pottery and the package was opened by his wife, she contacted me and told me, quite profanely, that she didn't like the ware, oh, and that one piece was broken. I offered to take the pottery back and send her a refund, but by then her husband was home and wanted to keep it. This went on for some weeks, with me offering to refund or replace, them changing their minds on an hourly basis and threatening to damage my business reputation. I wrote to the head of their church and they were requested to desist and did. I received an apology from the customer.
I insure all my packages with the Post Office, where I ship them. Their policy is to pay only for the pieces damaged and they do not return the broken pieces. I have no control over the policies of the United States Post Office
