Switzer Maids Damen Marin Fraud Internet

Do not use Switzer Maids!  I am suprised that this company is still in business given the countless reports of fraud.  As many have commented before, I wish we would have researched this company prior to hiring them. 

While they actually performed some cleaning services the first time we hired them, the second time they came to clean ended up being nothing short of fraud.  Damen Marin came to my home and seemed very professional.  He demanded that I pay the $65 up front (paid in cash), and that the "cleaning girl" would be there "any minute".  He stated he needed to catch a plane, and took off with my money. 

The cleaning staff never showed up, and my money was not returned.  I was repeatedly told that his brother (Andrew) would be bringing the money over, which he never did.  I have not received any contact from either Damen or Andrew, my only communication with them has been when I have contacted them myself, at which point I get the usual "I'm so sorry" and "we'll fix this", if I'm lucky enough that they actually pick up the phone.

Had either of them taken the initiative to return the money, or even contacted me with any type of communication, I would have been very understanding and patient.  It has been over a week and still nothing.
 
Given that I have received no communication and I still have not received my money, I now consider this to be theft.  I will be pursuing legal action via small claims court to recover my money. 

I am also interested in finding others who have been ripped off, to see if we can pursue fraud charges.
