I pre-ordered a product from them on July 30, 2012. The item was scheduled to ship on June 2013. When that date came however, there was no shipment or update on the delays.

When you email the company they will either say the item is coming in a few weeks (months will pass and there will be nothing) and if you ask for a refund they will flat out ignore you.

Recently they updated saying the statue will now ship March 2014. It's May 12, 2014 and still no product. If you email them they give you the same story that the item will ship very soon.

Many other consumers have been conned by this company. You may see the many people that have been cheated by this Syco here:

Syco Collectibles Is Gone and Still No Sonya Tags 121714

AUTHOR: aden626 - ()

POSTED: Wednesday, December 17, 2014

Many months later and still no Sonya Dog Tags from Jonathan. Emails were sent constantly to him but it appears it might be unnecessary. Syco Collectibles is down and there doesn't appear to be any resurrection in sight.

Never recevied my full order from Jonathan and Syco Collectibles and it appears I never will. I strongly urge any who reads this report to recognize that Jonathan Martin is a untrustworty individual when it comes to business. He is, at the very least, incompetent.

If, by some ungodly reason, Syco Collectibles comes back remember to not buy from them because you will only get burned.

Never Recieved Sonya Dog Tags 081814

AUTHOR: aden626 - ()

POSTED: Monday, August 18, 2014

While I have received the main piece in my order from Syco Collectibles, I still have yet to receive the pre-order incentive. I've emails Jonathan Martin a couple of times concerning this and he stated they are still being made and will update me later.

When dealing with Jonathan he will never take the initiative in emailing you as a customer. It will take great effort on your part to get an answer. It's like pulling teeth with this company.

As of right now I have heard nothing new from him in two weeks.

Once again Syco Collectibles has not fully satisfied my order.

The Sonya Statue Has Been Received But Still Missing Pre-Order Incentive 070214

AUTHOR: aden626 - ()

POSTED: Wednesday, July 02, 2014

After a year of shipping delays and countless emails going back and forth with Jonathan Martin, I have finally received the Sonya 18" Statue. All the pieces were there and most were in mint condition (The right leg of the statue seem to rattle about inside the package and chipped a few paint section on the right arm. Also the base had a broken off metal rod. However I just glued that back on). You can see images of the product I received here:

So they are shipping items, how many at a time I don't know. I hope everyone who dealt with Syco Collectiles get their issues resolved soon. It's pretty rough waiting for a statue and not knowing if you'll receive it. I'm glad this Sonya statue is in my hands.

HOWEVER! When I looked through the package I noticed no Pre-Order Incentive (the life-sized metal dog tags). I emailed Jonathan about it and he stated they are producing them now and will be done in a couple of weeks. He states he will send them seperatly.

So still some unfinished business with Syco Collectibles. I will consider this matter closed once I am delivered the dog tags. I will make sure to update this page again about the other item.

Reporting Syco Collectibles 061614

Update 06/16/14

Since my last report a few days ago I have not heard anything back from Syco Collectibles or Jonathan Martin. He continues to ignore most of my emails concerning the shipment of products.

Therefore, I decided to report him and his company to econsumer.gov/english/ since it appears I will not be receiveing my Sonya 18" statue anytime soon or a refund. The form was pretty simple to fill out.

If you or anyone else you know have been cheated by this company then I encourage you to go to the link above and fill out the form.

Jonathan Martin Lies Again

AUTHOR: aden626 - ()

POSTED: Friday, June 13, 2014

Update on 6/13/2014.

I emailed Jonathan Martin (owner of Syco Collectables) about my Sonya 18" statue and he finally responded, after three weeks of silence, stating that he will ship my item on Tuesday 6/10/2014.

Well obviously, as I am updating on a site called RIPOFF REPORT, that never came to be. Emailed him a couple of more time and have been avoided ever since.

He has been giving so many empty promises that it shouldn't be surprising when he and his company doesn't come through.

It's funny, in the emails I do receive from him he states he is not a scam artist or trying to rip me off. However his actions says otherwise.

In short, if you're thinking of purchasing a statue from Syco Collectables, don't. And if you had recently, try to get your money back as soon as possible.

Syco Collectable Still Hasn't Delivered

AUTHOR: aden626 - ()

POSTED: Monday, June 09, 2014

Syco Collectable has finally updated their main page with two new items as of May 25th, 2014. But they fail to update their paying costumers about the massive delays with their current products.

I still email Jonathan Martin, almost daily. He is the man who runs Syco Collectables and I ask him where my item is.

However, the last time he has responded to me was on May 21st, with a false promise on providing me with a tracking number for my package. It's been almost three weeks with no new updates. He is pretty much ignoring emails as of late.

This company seems fine with offering new products to sell, but they don't seem all that keen on fulfilling their orders.

There might be some people out there who received their products. Consider yourself lucky. In my case, and many other people's cases, I've only been suckered out of a lot of money.

Syco Collectables has given me no reason to believe they are a legitimate company.

Update 5/24/2014 Syco still a Scam

AUTHOR: aden626 - ()

POSTED: Saturday, May 24, 2014

It is May 24, 2014 and still no package from Syco Collectables. I have emailed Jonathan Martin since my last report and he states he will ship my package next week, then next Monday, then two days from now. When I ask about the delay they either ignore you or have an excuse about the shipping.

From my last response from him he stated I will receive a tracking number yesterday. However no such email came in. The company is never good at updating their costumers unless you yourself ask them. Not even on their main website do they let anyone know about their huge delays. The site hasn't been updated since last February.

In short, buy your statues somewhere else.
