Court records reflect the absence of any litigation or court proceeding in which this attorney represented the individual author of the complaint or any associated company.  State bar records similarly reflect the absence of any client complaints or litigation.  The more likely scenario would suggest that the author happens to be a disgruntled adverse party displeased with the effectiveness of this attorney’s representation.  Nearly all of the comments likely originate from the same source as evidenced by certain similarities in use of language and other relevant factors.  For example, the authors clearly attempt to influence search engine algorithms by using SEO techniques such as unnecessarily repeating proper names.

Although we do not agree with the strong language in the above report, but, extrapolating from our experience, Sylvia Scott is not a strong attorney and is too expensive. 

She is eager to escalate the legal conflict for her own gain.  This is not unusual in the legal profession, but when dealing with government regulators this approach can become very expensive - particularly for small public companies.  It is amusing that Sylvia is trying to mask other reviews by putting up sites with her bio. We cannot blame her for that transparant effort. She also pawns off her work on junior associates.  This practice is also typical, but far from ideal. Our advice when choosing a corporate attorney or any attorney: check multiple references... Speak directly to former clients... We should have before wasting a great deal of money without resolution.
