Refused to send rebate. I sent my rebate info in via registered mail and got an email back saying it was declined because I didn't send in the proper proof:
Missing Proof of Previous Purchase
Missing Original Proof of Purchase
I bought Symantec System works 2005 Premier. I previously owned System works 2004. I pre-registered for the 30.00 rebate and got an e-mail back for Antispam 10.00 rebate which I've never bought. After contacting the rebate department they told me to resubmit my info. I did this and have never heard from them again. They do this to keep from paying rebates. Symantec is a crooked company and I will not ever use their products again or sell their products in my store. I suggest to everyone to boycott their products until they learn to quit screwing people.

Norton Symantec, Norton Security, Norton Symantec billed my credit card to renew my Norton 360 software without my approval. I attempted to contact the company to have them cancel the charge. The representative would not reverse the charge and instead tried to scare me that I would be left unprotected. When I demanded to speak to a manager, I was put on hold and after a wait, the same rep came back and offered a discount. It is impossible to get the charges reversed so I am contacting my credit card company to place a stop order on the payment. This is a scam and I will be switching to a new security software company immediately. DO NOT GET INVOLVED WITH THIS COMPANY! Internet

Paypal, Symantec I canceled the auto renewal of this within paypal within the last year yet you still charged me for this. You represent total heartless greed against the consumer. You do not have permission to take this money. I EMAILED Symantec THREE TIMES NOT TO RENEW last week. Still the deduction of $79.99 was made from my account. I am a disabled low income senior. It is paypals policy to take up to ten days to refund this money which is a cause of great hardship. San Jose Internet, California
