One afternoon while napping, the ringing phone woke me up. The lady (Debra Downs) talking like she knew me. Because I was droggie, I thought it was someone I knew. After 15 minutes of her mumbo jumbo, I was finally realizing she is wanting to sell me something. It was an Internet Marketing Course written by Randy Charach. Price $297 plus $500 to have Randy market the course for me. After getting the worthless Cory Rudl course a decade earlier, I didn't need another one. But she kept on insisting and with Randy's marketing I could make money with it. There was a 20 day inspection money back guarantee. Got it and it was worthless and found out the only marketing is Randy to mention a special rotating url. I paid for it by credit card and when I returned it by UPS, I included in the return letter to credit the card. About the same time I sent the course back, I purchase by check a Domain Portfolio in the amount of $2500. The selling materials stated I would receive thousands. Two copies of $8000+ checks was produced. Debra Downs stated that participants are so thrilled with their checks that they are purchasing more Portfolios. I've read newspaper and magazine articles about how profitable these websites can be, plus Adsense Gurus are claiming earning $10 to $100 per day per website. I had 25 websites. I would have been happy to earn $1 per day per website. I waited for 3 months for my first check which was told me. The amount about $21. Very far from the thousands advertised. Plus people are happy with this? Plus the $2500 fee is to be paid again in 8 months. Never make it. I only received one check as they want me to sign contract that I paid $1703. I will not as I paid them a check of $2500 which was the required fee. I had to charge back the $797 as they never did credit it. They state that they rewrote the check in the amount of $1703 to as issue me the $797 refund for the course. It would have been much simpler to issue a credit. This is pretty deceptive. Rewrite a check? That check did not have my name or signature on it. They knew that check was not mine. So if they did rewrite it, the $797 would have gone to the company that wrote it for me. Company has lied to Better Business Bureau that I did not send back the course. Yet then Debra Downs phoned me about rewriting the check for $1703 to give me the $797 refund. After I figured out her mumbo jumbo, I told her that will not work as the check is not mine. She said they know that but already processed it. Once again why even suggest it. Company also doctored invoice sent to credit card company. First it did not show the refund. When I disputed to credit card company that it does not show a refund, the company issued another invoice showing the refund. Another deception. I am really disappointed that Randy Charach would operate such a deception and unusual business practice of rewriting checks. A full refund of all I paid was posted by company to BBB, but after agreeing, company responded back. Paul Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin
