The end of June 2006 I bought a Norwood Micro Monitor from CompUsa. Before the warranty expired I was having problems. I called CompUsa and they told me it had to be my monitor. I called the maker of my monitor explained the situation and took my monitor in. They checked my monitor out and stated the video card was fine there was nothing wrong. I called CompUsa the next day and asked to speak with the manager. He came on the phone and I explained how my monitor was acting up and proceeded to tell me it was my video card. I told him how one of his techs had told me that and how I had sent my computer in and they checked it, and it was the monitor not the computer. He told me there was nothing he could do because the store was closing. I called CompUsa corporate office and was told I needed to speak to this guy I left a message. I waited one full day for a call back it never came. I called the guy again and left another message. I waited a couple of hours and tried calling again and he was still not there. I called back the number and told the person what was going on and how I had left messages for this guy and I havent gotten any phone calls again she said leave another message. I did. I waited 2 days and still no call. I called on the I called the next day and finally was able to reach the guy. I told him what was going on and he said he could not help me it was out of warranty. I said it wouldnt of been out of warranty if someone had called me back. He said there was nothing he could do and that I should contact the local store. I told him the local store had closed. He told me there was nothing he could do. I tried to find the maker of my monitor and could not located it. I never recieved a book from CompUsa nor wouild they give me the maker information. I finally found the information FourStair Group by accident on the web. I called them and explained ther situation, they said sorry they cant help it is out of warranty and they only do warranty repairs. So now I am stuck with a monitor I cant use. They should stop these companies from doing this.
