I have been a customer of T-Mobile since February of 2002. I had received their Fly Free in 08 Promotion in the mail along with the form that I had to provide my information and the information of the second person that will be flying with me. I decided to take advantage of the promotion and change my Family Plan (for 2 lines) to the 5 Faves Plan and renewed my contract for another 2 years during the week of November 23, 2007 through November 25, 2007. I even upgraded my phone to the SideKick LX (which cost me $397.00).

I mailed out the form with the necessary information to TLC America, LLC at 1 Faneuil Hall Marketplace, 4th Floor, Boston, MA 02109.

As per the conditions of the promotion I made my payments and kept the 5 Faves plan. As stated on the Free Flight Promotion after February 28, 2008 they will notify you if you have qualified and in March the forms would be sent out by TLC (the marketing company that T-Mobile hired to send out the booking forms). To date I have not received my booking forms (which I had already planned on using for June 19, 2008 so I could go and baptize my nephew and thanks to them I had to spend 957.00 to fly out and the reason I had chosen that date was because I thought that I would have had those tickets by that time).

I have been dealing with several people at T-Mobile and TLC since March 15, 2008 (which I have my phone bill to prove how many times I have called T-Mobile and TLC regarding the status of my booking forms. I have dealt with Wayne (a supervisor) (who was very rude to me). I have dealt with Pachet ((815)-654-6707) direct number to Pachet) who at one time was very helpful but has not gotten back to me or given me any other information, Tina, and Craig can also be reached at the same number (all of these persons are supervisors at T-Mobile). They all have told me that I do qualify for the FREE FLIGHT but when I call TLC (the marketing company that is suppose to mail out the booking forms) and I have spoken to several people there, (i.e., Mark (supervisor; Amanda, and Michelle) they have all told me that it is T-Mobiles responsibility to provide my name on the list of the qualified customers and that they do not have me on the list. So despite my numerous phone calls between T-Mobile and TLC neither company can give me an answer regarding the booking forms.

No one in T-Mobile knows how to deal with the issue at hand. They act confused. They are not properly trained when it comes to their FALSE PROMOTIONS. When I spoke to Amanda from TLC she told me that she had e-mailed a TASK to T-Mobile regarding my situation and status of my qualifications which she never got a response from anyone from T-Mobile. It is very frustrating when you have been a long time customer of T-Mobile and they have a promotion going on and you go ahead and change your plan to take advantage of a good deal and be treated like your some idiot that does not know her rights. To date I have not had a call back or any other information from neither T-Mobile or TLC. I feel I am entitled to my two FREE FLIGHTS and I hope to get them. I hope to get this situation resolved soon.

I had a good experience with the free companion program

AUTHOR: Leannajenkins - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Tuesday, December 23, 2008

I'm sorry to hear about your misfortune with this program. I had a great experience. I found signing up easy to do, and have recommended it to many friends. After doing a lot of research, i found a lot of info about the program, as well as ways to save money.

Here is where i started. http://www.flywitht-mobile.com/welcome/faqs.aspx

I hope everything works out for you.

Good luck.

I'm being ripped off too

AUTHOR: Jacob - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Thursday, July 31, 2008

I felt ripped off from the get go on this so called free flight promotion too. I didn't specify three DIFFERENT destination and three DIFFERENT departure dates initially so I had my first request denied. From the time of denial it took them two months to get another form in the mail so I could resubmit. So I resubmit and finally get everything finalized and call T-Mobile today to set up my trip. First off, it's not really "free." It is, but they still get you. There is a $25 booking fee per person going on the flight (mine was $50). Then, on top of that you have to pay taxes, so my total was 150 bucks or so. I payed it a got my flight booked. An hour later I discover that the date I scheduled for the trip is no good. I was going to see a friend in Florida and he'll be out of town on that date. The first representative told me that I could change anything within 24 hours. So, I thought, no big deal I'll call and change my flight dates. So, I call and learn that it will cost me $200 too change my flight dates even though I had just set them up around an hour ago. It's absolutely ridiculous... They really get you coming and going. So, I'm stuck now with two plane tickets that I've payed $150 for and can't use and I refuse to pay them $200 to change the dates for me. It would be different if the tickets were already printed and in my hand ready for the flight and I decided to change but my flight date is over a month away and all the info is just sitting there on the computer which could easily be edited.

I'm very upset about this and I'll definitely be disputing this charge on my credit card.

T-Mobile-USA & TLC-FLY FREE IN 08 PROMOTION

AUTHOR: Jerseymari - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Thursday, July 10, 2008

In response to Lala's rebuttal (from T-Mobile) of 7/3/08, I called TLC today 7/10/08 and spoke with Erica regarding status of my booking forms. As per Erica she stated that T-Mobile's Business Support Team is suppose to resubmit my qualifications to TLC in order for them to send me the booking forms. Until then I cannot get those forms. It is very frustrating that I have to continue dealing with the back and forth game between T-Mobile and TLC...

All I want is what is owed to me and that is my two free flights. I cannot believe that I have to go through all this trouble. I have been a long standing customer for over 6 years and never had any problems with T-Mobile before. This is disappointing. I want some answers from someone.

free flight

AUTHOR: Lala - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Thursday, July 03, 2008

first off as an employee of t-mobile i certainly apologize that u haven't received your free flight vouchers, and in turn had to spend money for plane tickets for your trip. it unfortunately is a huge misconception that t-mobile and it's reps are directly at fault in the free flight promo mishaps. and i can understand we r ur cell carrier, so we're the initial target. BUT the company handling the free flight promo, TLC, handles every aspect for your forms and eligibility not t-mobile. once they receive ur forms they verify with t-mobile that u r on the correct plan, renewed or signed up for service during the correct dates and that there have been no suspensions since the myfaves plan began. t-mobile did not submit a list, that would be an extremely long list if that were the case and there have been thousands of customers that received their flights no problem, and then there are the few such as yoursef who have not. we try to do our best but because TLC has handled your form since day 1 we can only refer you to them. i would continue to contact TLC, they have all the information, not t-mobile. unfortunately we don't have access to your forms, flight requests, etc etc... hopefully you will speak to someone at TLC that can give you some accurate information and get you your flights
