Tmobile coverage dropped significantly between September and December 2007. I started dropping calls in my house wich was not a problem before. Driving on I5 from Aurora to Beaverton I would drop call in a dozen places (four between Aurora and Willsonville). I called for help and the first CS rep said that it was my phone or my sim card. There were three phones on my service and all three had the same problem. All SIMs were issued by Tmobile and there were three different models by two different manufactures (one was a Motorola Razer). The only thing in common with all phones were the wireless network. Their coverage significantly dropped. I called CS on DEC26 and they had a recording saying ther were not taking any calls. I called the store that we got service from and they said it was our phones, our SIMS, and our houses (two different locations) that was causing the problem. They gave me the special insiders number to contact internal tech support. I again got a recording stating they were not taking calls at this time. I do not have a land line so my mobile phone is my primary phone. I had to have reliable service I moved my number to Verizon and am starting a lawsuit to fight the $600 early termination fees. Changing their servise coverage changes the contract.

I have exactly the same problem

AUTHOR: Enderwiggen - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Monday, March 31, 2008

I too live in Hillsboro and have a T-mobile phone as my primary line (a blackberry). I noticed late last year that the quality of my connection became terrible. I constantly had to repeat myself on person to person calls and had to mute my connection when on business conference calls because of the wierd clicking and other background noises. I tried swapping the sim card with my older model phone and it seemed to help slightly, but the quality still isn't what it should be. I had my old phone with t-mobile back in my home state (I moved here last year) and it was always great. There's definitely something wrong with the network out here but I don't know if it's all carriers or just T-mobile.

Your $600 service cancellation fee is appalling. I haven't looked at my contract's terms very closely but now I'm worried. Please post the outcome of your lawsuit, I'd be very interested to know if you are successful. Good luck!

Service Request

AUTHOR: April May - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Monday, February 25, 2008

You should have filed a service request so that the engineering team could come out and check on the coverage in your area. It could have been that something needed to be tweeked. The last poster was correct, the contracts do state that coverage cannot be guaranteed inside of building and structures and that is in ALL mobile phone contracts, not just T-Mobile's.

Contract

AUTHOR: Destructo - (U.S.A.)

Per your contract, service cannot be guaranteed inside a structure, whether it was working in your house previously or not, it can't be guaranteed. Seriously, good luck with your lawsuit. Once you hire a lawyer, T-Mobile will settle, and credit the ETR fees. However, you're going to end up paying more out to a lawyer.
