In September 2013 we purchased a plan through My Famiy Mobile for our phones. I bought my daughter a new phone and instructed them to port her number over and they assured me they would. They never ported the number and I recieved 2 phone bills. One for the new number they assigned and one for the number they nevered transferred over. I attempted to settle this by going back to the store (Walmart) and they explained they could not do anything for me.  

They instructed me they were turning my file over to a collection agency and I have a 790 credit rating. I contacted the Better Business Bureau and shortly there after I recieved a letter from My Family Mobile stating that after a thorough investigation, I would in fact not be billed the second fee.

Last month I paid my bill, 14 days early and received a confirmation number for my payment. Then shortly after that I received a notice that I did not pay my bill and would be charged a late fee and my services would be suspended. I contacted them and they stated my check didn't clear. I contacted my bank and there was no record of them even trying to cash my check. They once again informed me they would be turning my file over to a collection agency. I contacted the BBB again and this time they refused to even give the BBB a response.  I paid the bill again to keep my good credit rating but this company is horrible.

Twice in 9 months I have had billing problems with them and they have attempted to turn my file over to a collection agency. I feel this is a form of intimidation.
