I DON'T UNDERSTAND WHY YOU WENT BACK AFTER THE FIRST TIME.

I DON'T THINK THAT YOU WERE DISCRIMINATED AGAINST BECAUSE THE SAME THING YOU COMPLAINED ABOUT HAS HAPPENED TO MY FRIENDS AS WELL ONLY IN VARIOUS LOCATIONS

I will admit that they did the same thing to me (at a certain Taco Cabana in Round Rock, TX and at two locations in Austin,Texas) that they did to you and I am NOT a yuppie...

This is apparently STANDARD OPERATING PROCEDURE for a majority of the Taco Cabanas where I have eaten. And pieces of that foil that are submerged in the frijoles and in the enchilada sauce hurt when you bite down and least expect it.

I NO LONGER EAT AT TACO CABANA -- A MEXICAN PATIO CAFE. Like hell...

The music is too loud and offensive!

The food is too inconsistent --it goes from excellente to absolutely disgusting and inedible... I have to agree with you on that one too.

But it is NOT authentically Mexican food in so far as Mexico has many different regions and many specialty food items for that region.

Some sleazy real estate developers tore down my favorite, authentically MEXICAN restaurant --best I have EVER eaten outside of Mexico -- to build CONDOS that probably nobody will be able to afford in THIS economy... and THAT was an enormous WASTE!

I happen to like learning Spanish and being able to enjoy all the things that people go to Mexico to experience only I enjoy them in the safety and the comfort of my OWN COUNTRY because I was BORN and RAISED in TEXAS.

TEXAS USED TO BE PART OF MEXICO so whose culture influenced TEXAS anywhere. I have lived here all my life. I was born here even. So what?...

Dad and I've been going to the taco cabana at Fred and Wurzsbach almost every Sat. morning for the last 15 years. I wouldn't call taco cabana mexican food any more then I'd call macdonald's a hamburger place. It IS what it is. Over the years, we've had some poor food, average food and some good food, depending on who makes it. For the last year or so we've had a great gal, a very tall young lady who has done an excellent job waiting on us. We gave her a $20 tip for doing such a good job two weeks ago and $10 to the other women . Years ago I filed a complaint by e-mailed, on the manager who was ripping us off. It was kind of funny how he was doing it. If you ordered a meal, it came with either a coffe or juice. Juice cost 1.29 as a side, coffee 99 cents. We'd order the meal with juice and a coffe on the side. The SOB would ring it up as an order of coffee with a side order of juice just to make an additional 30 cents. Now I could care less about 30 cents, but on a $4 order 30 cents added 13% profit to his bottom line, AT MY EXPENSE. Corporate office e-mailed me back and he stopped. All in all taco cabana isn't a bad place to eat DEPENDING on who's making the food. The few times I've eaten at other ones, the food has been ok. Again kind of like mcdonalds.

We stopped eating at the Taco Cabana in Austin,Texas when our favorite manager retired and we started getting out meals served exactly like you said.

The food there is TOO inconsistent!

One day, it will be PERFECT and the next day, it will be NASTY.

Be glad that the cigarette butts were outside instead of in your food like it was in ours.

We have been attacked by homeless panhandlers --the same ones who reach their filthy hands into your feet and grab a fistful right from your plate and run off with it if they don't take the whole plate and every alcoholic container they can grab and run with it.n at the TACO CABANA.
