We agreed to purchase Merchant Cash Advance Real Time leads from TagQuest with specific filters. The filters were 1 year in business $10,000 in monthly business bank deposits and No home based businesses Loan amounts requested over $25,000.00. It was also in our agreement that the maximum leads to be received daily would be 5. I ordered 40 leads.

Prior to agreeing to move ahead I specifically asked if  there was a clear return policy and was told by the TagQuest Rep. James Cullens to just send them to him and he would take care of it and return them. He also mentioned that it rarely ever happens. I asked James Cullens if the daily maximum lead delivery would be a problem and his resonse was if it was 50 a day then maybe we would run into an issue but 5 a day is surely a non issue. In addition I asked specifically if the leads were generated organically directly by TagQuest for I did not want to buy third party leads. I was told by James Cullens that the leads were from websites and landing pages owned by TagQuest and that they were trade secret websites and he couldnt tell me the web addresses for he didnt know them either it was e company secret. This was essentially a BS sales line and I have since learned that most of everything out of James Cullens mouth was a lie to get the order.

I understand the lead generation business I have been purchasing leads for many years there are times where you have to deal with issues out of the copmpanies control such as bogus information and maybe a consumer that has changed their mind during the interim. Tagquest by far is the worst company I have ever dealt with in terms of quality control of their products. I could understand that you may have a return here or there but I ended up returning 38 of 40 leads received and the other 2 were no contacts so who even knows that the lead is real at this juncture more than likely its bad.

The reason for returning the leads was none of them met the filters, leads were never delivered real time as agreed upon, the majority were home based businesses, the phone numbers were usually if not always wrong and the very few consumers I did reach either knew nothing about it or wanted information on how to start a business. The daily lead delivery as agreed to was never honored a two week campaign is now in the 6th week.

I had corresponded with the useless James Cullens several times within the first three weeks complaining nicely that the leads were not working out and that there were several issues primarily all involving the filter criteria. At this point James Cullens mentioned that there were issues with some of the third party aggregators from whom TagQuest was purchasing leads. I mentioned to James Cullens that I had an email from him that stated he organically generated the leads and third parties were never involved which was the answer to my initial concern of that I wanted nothing to do with buying from a third party lead source. He lied. Anything to get the order a sign of very weak sales representative that would compromise his integrity as well as his companies to get the order. I guess he needed a commission check probably dioesnt see one to often. James decided to hide and in comes Chuck Dye Sales Manager.

Chuck Dye gets involved wants to rectify the situation after I explain that I would like an amicable resolution. He confirms that there were issues with an aggregator or lead supplier that Tag Quest purchases leads from frequently. I mention I would have never agreed to do business with TagQuest if I knew that upfront and had James Cullens not lied. He said he would have to talk to James Cullens because that is not how TagQuest operates. I send him a spreadsheet with the lead ID and reasons for returns unlike Tag Quest I did my QC and most if not all were not within the parameters of the filters we agreed to in our agreement. He needed a day to review and he would getback to me. Chuck gets back to me and tells me that I have 8 approved returns and that the other leads were not returned within 24 hours therefore it didnt not comply with the return policy. I advised Chuck Dye that I had an email from James Cullens outlining the return policy provided to me and that I did ask James Cullens for a clear definitive policy within the email Chuck Dye asked if I could forward ti him the email and that he would review nad get back to me. For the record TagQuest does not have published on the agreement or anywhere else that a lead needs to be returned within 24 hours from the time of receipt. If this was the case TagQuest would have never received my order I would have never agreed to such a policy. It was not a policy just an attempt by Chuck Dye Sales Manager to cover up and try to keep the money which I am now at the point of demanding a return. I called Chuck Dye two days left messages and sent emails asked him why he hasnt reached out and his response via email was he is trying to put the missing information together for a resolution because every time we speak more information comes to light. What this means is that I keep calling BS on his team with written proof in emails and he is scrambling and doesnt know how to answer me because he knows what is transpiring and that I am not allowing it to happen. He offers me 7 additional leads gets it up to 15 leads left in a 40 lead campaign of which I have returned 38 of the leads received and cant give me an explanation as to why all of the leads shouldnt be honored for return. He states he will start leads Tuesday again..Tuesday comes and goes no leads no return call or correspondence Wednesday comes and goes no leads no return call no rcorrespondence Thursday I call twice and send an email Chuck Dye replies that he is caught up in months end work and is hoping that leads may come across to me that the lead flow was down due to letting go of the aggregators that provides Tag Quest with their thridy party garbage leads. Chuck Dye Sales Manager another Tagquest con man.

I tried to settle this amicable but now it will cost them instead of returning money for a service that they could not deliver and an agreement that they did not honor. A 40 lead order not the end of the world but out of principle I will now file complaints with BBB and have filed paperwork today locally in small claims court to get the money back from TagQuest. I am also reporting this sham of a company to the AG for violating the Fair Billing Act. I understand this is long winded but please STAY AWAY from Tag Quest Liars and Con Men just simply a complete waste of time. I read a review that was negative and I should have taken it to the letter I hope that this helps others avoid the likes of James Cullens Chuck Dye and Tag QUest the most unprofessional scamming marketing company online. STAY AWAY!
