Tahoe Womantahoe Woman, Ashley Asher NON PERFORMANCE OF AD CONTRACT, KEPT MONEY Zephyr Cove Nevada

I own a store in Lake tahoe and and signed a contract with Tahoe Woman for an ad to be placed in her newspaper for Feb/March 2008 issue , and the paper was NEVER published. I never received a call from Mrs Asher or a letter from her. I tried to call her and no numbers were correct. Its now April and I wrote her a letter demanding my money back for $75.00 for non performance of a contract and loss of marketing dollars. I called the publisher and he told me Tahoe Woman owes him $1500 and nothing will get published until he gets his money, this is in April mind you.

So today I get a Money Order from Ashley Asher for only $55.00? She claims she is keeping $20.00 for my add? What add? It was never published. She CLAIMS she paid the published $20.00 to make my ad? Humm, I spoke with him and she never paid him anything and I never got an add in Feb/March.

This is not about $20.00 or even $75.00. Its about what she represented at the time I signed a contract with her for a cause. Ashley claims she was an abused woman for many years, and she put out this paper to help abused woman, and thats why I used the paper for advertisement, to help the cause. But to them NEVER publish another paper and keep advertising dollars and never do anything! Thats not helping the cause, it hurts the cause if anything! My suggestion, do your homeowrk and be carfull placing ads with this paper, you may never get published and we all know we advertise to make money off the add, and we dont want to waste ad dollars!

Donate money to the womans center is south lake tahoe instead if you want to truely help the cause. Atleast you will know where your money goes.
