8/09/07- Placed order on line for Takemi Vista Comfort 3000 chair for my husbands birthday.

8/10/07 - Recieved a phone call stating you no longer carried the beige and only had black. I told him I could not use black. He said he would check to see if he could find a beige and call me back. I told him if I did not hear from him by Monday Aug 13th that I would need to cancel the order as it was a birthday gift.

8/12/07 - I Sent an Email to cancel the order received no confirmation
At this point I ordered a chair from another source.

8/13/07 - I sent another email of cancellation...a little stronger this time.

8/14/07 - I called sales to triple confirm cancellation. They said non problem.

8/25/07 - I discovered this had been charged to my credit card. I immediately sent an email and asked why my card had been charged.

8/26/07 - I received a phone call confirming cancellation and assurance that the charges would be removed.

9/4/07 - I received a phone call from the shipping company setting up delivery.
I thought it was for the other chair I had ordered.

9/5/07 - Delivery made and accepted. It was in a box so I did not open it at the time. When my husband got home he opened it and that is when I discovered that it was from Takemi.

9/6/07 - I called Takemi Sales and Steve referred me to this email robert@takemiselectwholesaleoutlet.com to lodge a complaint and straighten this out as to how to get it back to them.

9/6/07 I sent email as suggested and heard no response.

9/7/07 I called again and Steve told me that the eamail had been received and was on the proper persons desk. So, I sent another email and still no response.

9/10/07-Sent yet another email. Still no response.

9/11/07-Called customer service again. The only one I can ever get to talk to is Steve.
Very pleasant and sympathetic but that is not solving the problem. Again, Robert is not available. Steve said he would relay the message to him again and advised trying him before11:30AM, which is 8:30 my time.

9/13/07- Sent another Email' Told them I was going to send the chair back COD if I did not hear from them this week. Still no response. Now I decided to wait a day or 2 to see what would happen.

9/17/07- Called again. Spoke to Steve again. He was appalled that Robert had not contacted me yet. I told him if I didn't hear from Robert by the next day I was going to ship the chair back COD.
He said he would talk to him again and tell him to call me.

9/21/07- Called again, this time I spoke to someone in Sales. He referred the call to Mike or Steve(I believe they are the same person. FINALLY got a call back. Don't really know who I was talking to, Mike or Steve, because this person was so rude he wouldn't let me talk. Said he answered every emaila big lie. I never received an email. Threatened me that if I sent the chair back he would not only charge me with the return shipping but would charge me for original shipping charges. Hmmmm, I am supposed to pay for their mistake?
He told me to send him emails I had to prove I cancelled the order, which I did. Now let'e see what will happens.

9/22/07- Mike calls me back. He is the rudest person I have ever encountered in business. He will NOT let you talk. He has to do all the talking and repeats himself several times. He pulls a filibuster! He stated he would send me the paperwork to return the chair but I would have to pay shipping charges both ways (approximately $450) In addition, if the box was damaged or taped in any way he would refuse it and I would still end up paying the shipping and would not get my refund. Of course there was tape on the box. It was there when I received it!! I was so angry I nearly ended up in the hospital after hanging up on him. I am 70 years old and have high blood pressure and I was sick after this.

This company obviously does not take the pride in their customer service that they claim in here. They also obviously "twist" facts to work for them... The first complaint on this site was filed 8-28-07.. the THIRD complaint was filed 9-23-07... That works out to less than a month.

If they are the only company that has a complaint on this site about their massage chairs... I would definately deal with their competetion.

I received my Takemi 7000 after a two plus month delay. It was worth the wait!. I purchased it for my father who is 87 years old and has had major back surgery a few years ago. He just loves the massage he got the minute he sat in the chair. He will run the 15 minute pre-progam five times over. It makes his whole body feel relaxed. The chair quality is excellent and the leather is beautiful. I have had three friends try the chair and they each want to order one.

We absolutely LOVE our Vista BodyWonder ! It is like having your own personal masseuse right in your own home. My chair is the first place I head as soon as I come home from work. Whenever I have friends over they absolutely can't believe how great it feels and they all want to order one for themselves. Wow! The Takemi Massage Bed has saved me from surgery, had bad shoulder. Dr. Said I would need 6 months therapy after surgery. I love my Jade Melody 9000. I have had problems with my lower back since I had my epidural almost 8 years ago. I see my chiropractor monthly, which definately helps, but is not always practical on a day to day basis. Every morning I set my chair on a 'kneading back stretch' and I am good to go for the day! It is totally awesome! My husband is a firefighter and he he uses it to 'destress' after a 24 hour shift and 8 hours of sleeping on a cot. Even my 7 year son loves it. He bounces of the wall most of the time, but put him in the this, and for 15 minutes, it's heaven for everyone!

We just received our chair today. It arrived in perfect shape and our only problem was moving it upstairs. After my Wife, Son and I finished I was more than ready to use the chair. Thanks for all your help Dan overseeing that we got the chair and that we understand how to use it. I was skeptical whether my husband and I would like the chair because we could not try it out, since we are on the West Coast and Takemi is located in Florida, but we are thrilled with the it! We purchased the Takemi Jade Melody 9000. It has a lot of options and seems to be well built. So well built, I think my husband has become molded to it! Just want to say how happy I am with the Takemi Massage Bed. I ordered the bed on a Thursday night and it arrived five days later. The short shipping time and tracking available really impressed me. I have been using the bed daily and it has done wonders for relaxing me after a stressful day at work.The jade rollers and far infared seems to help with the arthritis in my hips as well. I have also been very pleased with the helpfulness and quick reponses from the company staff whenever I have called or sent an email.I have used other massage beds and the Takemi is the best. Great bed at a great price. PS: My husband complaints that he doesn't get to use it and that I don't share. Thanks again for all your help and for a product that exceeded my expections.

Very impressed with the knowledge and helpfulness of customer service. Ordered on line, excellent web layout, straightforward to follow. My product was delivered with in two days of placing the order, great job.

Customer service provided information to about the website and ticket number (everyone was very profession and courteous). After going to companies website and entering ticket number, package was do to arrive that day. I called the delivery company and the driver was five minutes away. I recently made the decision to purchase the Takemi Jade Meolody 11000 Comfort Massage chair. This wasn't an easy choice as I had researched the Sanyo, Panasonic and Ikana chairs and couldn't believe that your chair at your price would compete with theirs even though theirs cost twice as much. Nevertheless, I came into the showroom tested the chair and found it to be very equivatent in features and comfort. I've been enjoying it ever since.

Look at the dates of when these complaints were filed... and that is only the people who filed complaints on this site. I would suggest anyone about to make a purchase from ANY company online, google the name of that company. If they have several complaints in a short time span, and their competition does not... who should you choose?

On the 9th of August 2007 Mrs. B had ordered a Beige 3000 Massage chair from Takemi Select Wholesale Outlet.

On the 10th of August , Steve from Customer Service had left a message for Mrs. B informing her that The Beige 3000 was teporarily out of stock and that we had a Black 3000 massage chair that could ship immediately.

On the 11th of August 2007, Steve successfully contacted Mrs. B who informed Steve that a Black 3000 will not be an option as the Beige 3000 was a Birthday Gift. Steve proceeded to inform Mrs. B that he would try to expedite a Beige 3000 massage chair from one of other locations. Steve asked her if she could possibly wait for one and Mrs. B Said that that would be wonderful and please let her know.


On Friday the 24th of August 2007, I Personally contacted Mrs. and informed her that I had her Beige 3000 massage chair and that I could Expedite it for shipment the following Monday. Mrs. B was very apreciative and thanked me for all my help and assistance and she stated that I could go ahead and ship it out immediatly. As we do not ship out from the Distribution Center on Saturday and Sunday I let her that we could not ship until Monday and in fact, you can clearly see below that her Beige 3000 Massage chair shipped out on Monday the 27th of August 2007.

IN ALL DUE RESPECT to Mrs. B's claim that she had no knowledge of what she was receiving or where she was receiving it from not only do all of our shipping boxes clearly have " TAKEMI SELECT WHOLESALE OUTLET " and THE MODEL AND COLOR OF THE CHAIR printed in BIG BLACK LETTERING and our LARGE ORANGE LOGO ON EACH 4 SIDES OF THE BOX FOR EVERYONE TO SEE.

As a standard Delivery practice the shipping company extends a delivery receipt for signature clearly stating where the deilivery originates from. In addition the shipping company contacted MRS. Bondi by telephone to arrange a convenient time for delivery. At that time she was also informed where the shipment originated from once again. Please see A COPY OF MRS. B'S SIGNED ORIGINAL DELIVERY RECEIPT BY COPYING THE FOLLOWING LINK INTO YOUR BROWSER.

As to the claim that MRS. B cancelled her order on the 13th of August 2007.

When Mrs. B purchased the chair from Takemi Select wholesale outlet she received a receipt on line with all of our customer service contact information and
when we contacted Mrs. B By telephone on multiple occasions she clearly had our toll free phone number.

As a matter of Security and Fraud Prevention Linkpt sends out a send only email to let the customer know that their credit card has just been used on the internet. That email address originates from gateway@linkpt.net. Takemi Select Wholesale Outlet also sends 2 seperate email addresses one a complete copy of the customers online receipt with all of our contact information on it as well as a second email thanking the customer for their business confirming the order and sending a second copy of all our customer service contact information.

We provide this service not only for Mrs. B but for all of our Takemi Selct Wholesale Outlet Customers. You can clearly see below in the email that Mrs. B did in fact send us an email Requesting a cancellation But we did not receive that particular email until Friday the 21st of September, a full 3 weeks after she had received and signed for the delivery of her chair. Again, we telephoned and spoke to Mrs. B on the 24th of August to confirm that she still wanted the Beige 3000 Massage chair before we actually shipped it out. And she received a phone call from Estes freight company to confirm their appointment to deliver a shipment fron Takemi Select Wholesale Outlet. Please see her email to us from the 21st of September 2007.

1. She clearly sent the original email to the wrong address.
2. We had spoken with her on several occasions as well as the shipping company.
3. She claims " When I received this chair I thought it was the other chair that I ordered from another company". IN ALL DUE RESPECT to Mrs. Bondi's claim that she had no knowledge of what she was receiving or where she was receiving it from not only do all of our shipping boxes clearly have " TAKEMI SELECT WHOLESALE OUTLET " and THE MODEL AND COLOR OF THE CHAIR printed in BIG BLACK LETTERING and our LARGE ORANGE LOGO ON EACH 4 SIDES OF THE BOX FOR EVERYONE TO SEE.

4. She claims " I went out and my husband came home and opened it" As a standard Delivery practice the shipping company extends a delivery receipt for signature clearly stating where the deilivery originates from. In addition the shipping company contacted MRS. Bondi by telephone to arrange a convenient time for delivery. At that time she was also informed where the shipment originated from once again. 5. She claims "I was upset when I found that it was the chair from you people and it was beige and black" The chair that she had received was the exact same chair that is pictured on the Takemi Select Wholesale Outlet website. Please paste the following link in your browser and you will see the same chair that Mrs. B Ordered and Received.

6. She claims "I have tried since then to get this chair picked up and to no avail".

On Saturday the 22nd of September 2007 because of Mrs. B's personal situation and against our company regarding returns, I informed her that on Monday the 24th that I would personally contact the shipping company and that we would cover all shipping charges and bring that chair back to us and provide her with a full refund of her money. She also claims that we quoted her two seperate shipping charges.

We never quoted her any shipping charges and we find it very strange that in one part of her report that one quote was for $510.00 and later on in her report she claims a quote of $450.00 for both ways. Who's really being honest here. Two seperate quotes for totally different amounts or our telephone conversation letting her know that we would be picking up the chair. Please see the second email below from MRS. B in her own words ( please not the date on her email).

"Mike,
Don't bother with arranging for the return of the chair. My Physical Therapist, who recommended you in the first place is buying it from me. She is opening up another facility and had plans of ordering 5 of your TJV3500 tables along with some other items. After I told her of the ordeal I have been through she has decided not to order from you".

You can clearly see the truth that we indeed arranged with Mrs. Bondi for the return and full refund of her order only to find out that she had already sold the chair. As you can see from her email she is a very mean and angry person, I myself am personally hurt and appalled after all of the wonderful telephone conversations that we have had together to try and rectify her situation and I am personally saddened by the lies that she personally bestowed on my charactor.

I come to work just like we all do , one day at a time, trying my very best to treat all of my customers with the respect and dignity that they deserve. I can't help but feel why Mrs. B had the need to file this hurtful report in the first place. I do not want to call anyone a liar, But I think we all can see here once again who is telling the truth. At Takemi Select Wholesale Outlet Customer service is always our Number One Priority.

I just sent you 2 of the emails I sent prior to the 24th of August.

When I received this chair I thought it was the other chair that I ordered from another company. I could not open it because I am disabled and it was too large. I went out and my husband came home and opened it, not knowing anything about it because it was supposed to be a birthday present. I was upset when I found that it was the chair from you people and it was beige and black. I had stated I could not use anything in black. I have tried since then to get this chair picked up and to no avail.

Please help me as I am on SS and have a very limited income. I cant afford 2 chairs as I now have the other one I ordered from another company in the color I wanted.

Mike, you are very rude and should not be in customer service. When you wont even allow the customer to state their problem, you just go on and on repeating the same meaningless thing over and over and won't let the other person get a word in, that is a filibuster and is very rude. You may think you are smart by keeping the conversation one-sided, but in this case I will have the last word. I am not finished yet!
