On 9-27-04 they came to flush out our AC Unit secondary line due to constant dripping. After we started turning our AC system back on in the spring of '05, we noticed the same dripping from the secondary line. Another technician was called out 7-5-05. He said the previous technician did not properly flush the line, that it had to be cut. Basically, I paid for this service twice. He checked the freon levels on my AC system before he left, and said the level was perfect. On 7-29-05, we came home to an 85 degree house and the AC running constantly. We contacted another service company to come check the system, and were advised that the service valve had not been tightened when the freon was checked, and therefore, the freon leaked out. We had 6 pounds of freon added and received a huge electric bill!

I did not call out the original company (Tarrant All American) due to the fact their Regional Manager (Tony English) would never admit that there was a possbility that their technician ever did anything wrong, going all the way back to the original date of service, and did not trust him to honestly tell us if they had accidentally left the service valve open, therefore we retained the service of a different AC contractor to check the system out.

After partial reimbursement of our expenses was approved by other individuals with the company, Mr. English changed his tune and decided they would pay for nothing. After going around and around with him, my husband then began dealing with him from there on out, due to the fact that I, a woman, obviously didn't know what I was talking about and I was tired of being talked to in a degrading manner. He and my husband came to an agreement for Tarrant All American to pay for 4 pounds of the lost freon, and that a check would be on the way that day. We still have not received the check, and Mr. English is now avoiding our phone calls, and is conveniently out of the office every time we call, and his staff has taken a different tone with us. Don't do business with these people! I'm now out over $425, plus owe a huge electric bill, because of them!
