TCA Fulfillment Services rip-off by TCA Fulfillment Services for a $15 rebate on an Argus Camera They sent me a check that could not be negotiated Brookfield Wisconsin
*Consumer Comment: Wow, that is really crummy!
My 9 year-old son bought an Argus camera (at Office Depot in Brookfield, Wisconsin in December 2001), which he could afford because of the $15.00 rebate.
We filled out the forms, provided documentaion, and received a rebate check which cannot be negotiated. Key routing information has been omitted, and no bank will accept it.
We sent a p/c of the bad check, an explanation, and a request for a new check to be issued. Our request was sent in June 2002. The company has never responded.

What a crummy way to treat a customer, especially a young one. They are losing 60 years of future business!
Maybe talk to the manager of your local Office Depot where you purchased the camera. Even though they didn't offer the refund directly, they advertise it and use it to move merchandise, so they have some stake at keeping people happy who shop at their store. Maybe one of their regional managers can act on your behalf. Someone should honor that refund if it was advertised as an incentive and it was the reason for purchase. Good luck.
