TD Banknorth Crooks and they admit to what they do Poughkeepsie, Portland Maine

I have been with Commerce Bank for 5 plus years and have never had a problem and they switched over to TD Banknorth and I have had nothing but major troubles. I do not make a lot of money and live paycheck to paycheck so the money I have is almost precious to me. So I went ahead and checked my online bank account today and I have close to $600 in overdraft fees. I called the bank to discuss the fees and see what the problem is. They charged me $35/fee for every transaction that went over even if it was a transaction only worth $1. The odd thing is I confronted them on the purchases and told them that I made several purchases days in advance before I wrote a check and the person cashed the check. They said that as a courtesy to me they went ahead and put the check in first and then put the rest of the transactions through after that even though those transactions were made as far as a week before this. A courtesy yeah right if they would have put my check through last since it was my very last transaction then all I would have is a $35 fee. I told them that I have friends who work for other banks and that's how they make their money...they put the highest amount through first and then charge you for everything to make money. I mean $600 in fees especially for someone who lives paycheck to paycheck...What crooks and they know it and admit that's how they do it but they tell us it's a curteousy yeah right a $600 curtousey...I have had enough of companies screwing us over; I just do not understand how they get away with this!
