Well the carnival came earlier to town this year, but most of the audience must feel like the clowns. I guess we're all born with a little bit of gullible nature in us so after seeing the television spot for TMTT, I decided to check out the free seminar for more info. Having traded for several years and getting better returns than my 401k, I could see additional instruction as a benefit. The free seminar brushed over a few terms but the spiel was how easy trading for an additional income could be and with the right training could lead to full financial independence.

Visual stock charts were shown; terms and descriptive profiles of the traits of successful swing traders were used. Dreams of making a living in front of your computer in your PJ's basically was the come on. Having been in sales for years, the " if you act now tactics was if you want to beat the crowd signing up at the end of the seminar act now and go to the back of the room and sign up for the 3 day "Workshop" because there is no way in a 2 hour presentation can you learn enough to further your understanding of stock market strategy.

We were complimented on showing up to take financial control of our future, proving that we had what it takes to become successful bla, bla, bla, and how much the no shows were losers. Having been in sales I should have paid attention to my hairs standing on end, and taken the back door. The low budget hotel ball room and sour faced sales rep. and support personnel and overall attitude I should have listened to my gut instincts.

Well we're all a little gullible by nature and always looking for the easy way to make more money, I paid by card and received the two soft books and Trade Center Software, with promises that the "3 day Workshop would Teach me to Trade" and if desired additional classes were available to further specific training on Asset Protection and other areas of interest. Now to the "3 day Workshop" Again my hairs stood on end as the speaker who had the terminology and planned spiel glossed over the basic terms and charts.

It was entertaining but a "Workshop, it wasn't" projected charts and note taking was flicked by and glossed over and unless you knew dictation or wrote in code you would miss it. If you have visions of working in small groups with instruction and mentoring as most "Workshops" operate, forget it "It ain't gonna happen" a term the speaker liked to use. Maybe you think you'll be shown the basics and asked to work in groups to do mock up trades for trial and error sessions. It ain't gonna happen. No time for that, but there was plenty of time to hear of the advance classes that repeatedly we were told we needed in order to Learn how to Trade. And there was plenty of time for a self proclaimed student speaker to comment on how he was a Christian and family man and stories to entertain you. The Bible says a Christian shouldn't judge others or will be judged. So I'll leave that in his hands, I'm only stating observations of the Workshop although when I hear people with influence speak of Christianity I watch for other standards to be shown. I could be wrong and at times can be, but aligning Christianity with this Workshop is a bruise in the eye for Christianity.

If you go to the spiel, excuse me Workshop get ready for a pushed hard spiel. And by the way the additional classes and instruction discounted if we signed up now ranging from $8,990 to over 30k could be yours if you act now again no payment plans or financing. Just cash or credit now would do. Would I sign up for additional Workshops and instruction? Let me see the best way to say this, It ain't gonna happen.
