I bought/ordered the downloable PDF file CTEL (CA Teacher of English Learner) Comprehensive Success Sytem on 6/16/08 using Visa card. I printed the material amid many typographical and grammatical errors which I checked/commented on because I was so disappointed. They're selling this and this is a mediocre material I get! So, I decided to focus on my preparation for the exams and told myself to deal with this headache later.

When I took the CTEL Exams on June 28, 2008, to my disappointment, their Study Guide was not very useful at all and yet they claim 100% success. So, I rested for a day because it was an intense and tough exam that I got sick after that! then I started composing my request for refund and commentaries and suggestions to improve their material for future editions. I emailed and mailed a hard copy to the company.

So far, since I emailed and mailed to them my request on June 30, until now I have received any communication or reply from them and as promised/claimed in their emails and web site, they will reply within 24 hours upon receipt of any request. They say they can be reached by phone to ask for refund with no questions asked, but there is no telephone written in any of their web pages or email, which I have been asking them to provide so I can contact them, yet to no avail. It's been days since my last request.

I just want my money back because their material is not worth it at all and I did not find it very useful, instead erroneous and with lots of misconceptions. They have charged my card for $47 so quickly so I want a quick refund too.

How can the company (if ever there is) be ever trustworthy again!? Please stop the fraudulent claims and stop fooling any one else.

Please don't be trapped like me. Just like what the other reporter said, they pestered me in the email too and I was really seeking some materials anywhere because they're not available at any bookstore, only online, so I took a chance. But, I realize now I made a big mistake. Take it from me, never trust their claims, they're untrue and unfounded!

Such Nonsense!

I will never understand how a lack of patience is an excuse to write lies about a company. Taking the time to write a false report when the issue is resolved is such nonsense. I just will never understand why some people have little or no patience when dealing with a company, they have a lot more to do than just talk to you all day. There are other customers that need assistance too.

This is just an example of someone who couldn't pass their test so they blame the testing guide for not doing its job. When in reality it is the person's job to study hard, not the guide.

Does Anyone Know What Patience Is?

There is so much wrong with this report I don't even know where to begin.So this author didn't study hard enough and blames the study guide for not being "useful" instead of blaming themselves for not learning the material. There is a phone number too! I don't know why it is so difficult for people to find the number, it is clearly listed!

And on top of it there is absolutely no patience when waiting for a refund from the company. If you would of just waited and had an ounce of patience then this report probably wouldn't of been written. This is just an example of another silly unnecessary report that messes up a company's reputation because of pure ridiculousness.

Dont blame a guide with some clueless reasons

This post comes up in your mind when you get so much frustrated. The reason you are making those comments are useless. From a view of a audience, i can see you are too stubborn to get a result and want the results so quickly with a nervous and impatience characteristics.

I came up with some conclusion about your report, i am sure you will find your answers here:

1.You have said in your post that you found some grammatical mistake and this was an headache before your exam, isn't its a matter of psychological problem of yours,what do you think? You can't even control your mind from being kept out from this fact before exam due to the fault of your guide!!!!! I  am sure you was so anxious before and during the exam, and an anxious mind is not really good for getting a result or specially in a case like CTEL.

You got sick after that, listen, every one of us know that an assessment test is not the end of the world but you react differently. Listen- either  you making some excuses or  YOU NEED A DOCTOR.

2.Now i am telling you what its mean 100% of a study guide. It means if you thoroughly complete the study guide it would take the 100% guaranty to face and solve the questions. It show us the path which helps to nourish  our preparation to a master level. 100% doesn't mean it is a xerox copy of that question paper, hope you understand.

Though you should be thankful to Teaching solution for making you a little smarter than before.

3. What it looks like, if you consume a product and then demand the money back for your own mistake? The guide try to give the best to its consumer. people like you never want to realize your own fault.

Besides i've reviewed their site,and i think" "Teaching Solutions has a 60 day money back guarantee if you're not satisfied with it in anyway, why do you not read the standard refund policy which is much more generous than the amazon.com policy and take responsibility as an adult seeking professional certification?"

4. You took the test then demand for money if you were facing so many problems why don't you ask for refund before the exam, you consume it and then asking for refund, is it fare?

Now take some advice :

"If you never took the test or have failed it perhaps you are not in a position to judge quality materials to pass the exam,"

That's Odd. You're 2 Out Of The 60,000 People They Helped Pass. Why Do You Make These Lame Excuses For Yourself, Lies And Blame Teaching Solutions?

I guess it's one of those test takers who have 9th grade reading and math skills and can't pass their teacher certification test again. Hum...I'm so tired of listening to whinners like this. These people are usually 50 pounds overweight, don't read what they purchase, don't study and then blame everyone else but their pathetic self!































Some complete idiot goes and puts a post here because they couldn't find a phone number in directory? From their comments which point to an IQ at room temperature I find it so ridiculous. Anyway, welcome to 2012. Companies like Amazon.com and other leading companies don't have a call center. If you purchased an e-book why do you need to call to someone? Do you need a date?































They order a Test Coaching service online and download the free materials, but never contact the Test Coach for the service. They then pass their poor excuse for a teacher candidate and lack of responsibility to a Test Coach who has volunteered and blocked out hours of their time to mentor the test taker. Weeks later after sitting on their fat a*s shoving piles of popcorn and ice cream in their already balloon-like face they fail their teaching test.































































It's always some elses fault isn't it? Is it any coincidence the same 4-6 losers who keep slamming Teaching Solutions (certified educators who passed their test) waste so much time and energy making these negative comments based on lies can't pass their test?































































Why don't these losers just study and pass? After all the 60,000 people Teaching Solutions helped pass have been teaching in the classroom for years while these internet spammers and losers keep posting trash here about a great company who helps thousands of teachers and nurses each year reach their dream.































































These guys really helped me pass my test. I've been teaching for 3 years now thanks to their study guide and Test Coaching.































































You could waste months studying the overwhelming test content in other study guides, but their materials saved me at least 4 weeks of study time. I passed my test and got my first teaching job at almost $40,000 per year! And I'm only 26.































































I suspect these few people out of the 60,000 Teaching Solutions helped pass are just doing this because they have no husband, can't get a date due to their ugly personality and poor hygiene, have a lot of time on their hands and are just pissed off and angry about their own pathetic life.































































You purchased a book. Take it easy. Maybe you just haven't got laid since you gained 40 pounds. Chill-out!

There is a phone number and email form in teaching solutions

Teaching solutions will not reply to any clients that are not part and a member of their
product. Im a customer and when it comes in contacting the customer service
they provide via email, I receive a fast and professional reply in a day. You
must make sure that you buy their product, if yes, then, contact their support,
if no, reply, that will be a problem with you and not with the company. Its
simple, your payment maybe not valid, you click the wrong link in purchasing
the product, contacting the support even youre not a valid member and your are
just a scam that writing these negative comments about the company.  You said that there is no phone? Liar, thereis a phone number included in their support link and as well email form.

Since I reported the company to RipoffReport.com and BBB, Teaching Solutions' Ms. Debbie C. Roberts started communicating with me in the email on Saturday & this Monday, and asked for my credit card no. and expiry date so she can take action if after 4 days nothing is credited in my account. BBB has also communcated with me re my complaint and that they have informed Teaching Solutions. Why do we have to make threats and complain for them to act? I don't find any of their dealings/transactions very credible anymore!

Debbie Roberts says that for my protection, credit card info is deleted after 28 days, but since June 12 (date of actual purchase) up to now, it's been only 18-20 days post-purchase and their company says it's 90 days post-purchase & if I don't pass my CTEL then it will give my money back in full. This is totally confusing! This 28-day system deletion of credit card info totally negates their info in their website and emails! Fraudulent! So, think twice before transacting any business with them ever!

Correction please!, line no. 9 (9th sentence) should read: "I have not received any communication from them..."

I emailed them once more to ask for a reply/update on my request for refund and got an automated reply that if you're not an online customer that ordered their Comprehensive Success System and if you're not enrolled in their online Test Coaching activity, then the company will not reply to any query.

I have ordered their material already and now that I want my money back, they're giving me the 'brush off?" I don't think this is fair and just.
