Went to teacuppigsforsale.com and seen the cutest pigs, I wanted to get one for my daughters birthday. I was told I would have the pig 7-10 days after I wired the $3500.00. After they recieved my money I never heard from any of them, I spent hours and hours of calling to not recieve a phone call back. I reported them to the Better Business Bureau and they would not even repsond to them.

This has been going on since Feb. 2012, I even recieved an email with a shipment conf. # from the business, then on the day I was supposed to recieve her, Tracy emailed me and said he did not get her there in time and he would schedule another date. Never heard from them again . Never buy anythign from these people complete rip-off and scam no I am out of $3500. and the worst part was since I spent all that money on a pig for my daughter I never recieved. I couldnt get her a birthday present.

on a similar report regarding "teacup" pigs - better to be out money and a hard lesson learned than to be stuck with a 100-400lbs ADULT pig you weren't prepared for.

Teacup anything is a scam. Anyone who tries to guarantee the adult weight is full of it. Pigs take time(years) to reach their full weight and size. Any "small" parents you see are in fact between 5-7 months of age.

If you truly want a pig for your daughter, find a reputable breeder of Potbelly pigs and be prepared for a 100-200lbs pig. The only real miniature thing about them is when compared to farm pigs(which can hit the 1,000lbs mark) is that they are smaller as adults. That's it.

This is right from the KuneKune Assoc of New Zealand
-First, and technically speaking, all Kunekunes are miniature pigs when compared to commercial pigs, which can weigh up to 400+ kilos. Kunekunes tend to come in between 60 and 200 kg at adulthood.

-Second, Kunekunes take a long time to reach adult size compared to other breeds, and their growth rates are quite
variable. What many of us might consider a small pig at two- or three- years can suddenly spurt and become quite large at four-years old.

-Third, the final size of a pig is determined both genetically and by its feeding regime. Pigs deprived of sufficient food in the growing years will end up smaller than they could have been. But to end up with a healthy pig around the size reported
by the media at adulthood would probably be impossible.
