I contacted someone on Puppyfind.com about a puppy they had advertised. They got back to me stating that they wanted $525 for Males $575 for females and that I would be contacted by their shipper soon about how to send the money. I was contacted by the shipper and tld to western union the money. I had a big red flag and said no I won't western union, then he said well you can pay pay pal, that the puppy had already been dropped off at the shippers.
They also called me and the man on the phone had an African accent. I said no thanks not interested.
It is a definite scam, I used the word scam and got no response! So that tells you right there it is a scam!

My name is Jessica and I am one of the Relationship Managers with Puppyfind.com. Since Puppyfind.com was mentioned within this complaint, I wanted to take this opportunity to comment on the complaint itself.
We are very sorry to hear that you were in contact with a Fraudulent user. Puppyfind.com works very hard to prevent scammers from accessing the site. However, as scammers are constantly changing their tactics in order to get through our preventative measures, we do have a Fraud Department that works 24/7 to locate and ban fraudulent accounts from the site.
I have checked our records regarding the account you referenced within your complaint. This account, using the Teacuppuppies.webs.com website, was located and banned from the site on 06/19/12.
For anyone who is considering purchasing a puppy, whether you are doing this through an online advertisement or through your local paper, please take a moment to visit http://www.puppyfind.com/buyer_tips/ for information on questions to ask the breeder you are working with and tips on how to protect yourself when purchasing a new puppy.
Again, I am sorry that you had a negative experience when utilizing our website. But please be assured that the account was banned from the site by our Fraud Department.
