Teak Capital Berhad in Malaysia and Chok Kwee Bee sent our company a "Memorandum of Understanding" /investment contract for signing. Teak Capital said we were approved for a six figure line of credit.  However, after extensive due diligence, it was brought to our attention that the contract, sent to our company for signing, was not prepared by the law firm listed on the contract, Seow & Associates.  After contacting Seow & Associates in Malaysia, they informed us that the contract was falsely produced and their logo /letter head was not authorized for use.

 Seow & Associates did not have any record of working with Teak.  Therefore, Teak Capital misrepresented themselves in a scheme to deceive and dup our US company out of money for upfront Zurich Insurance fees. Our company had been submitting documents to Teak Capital and Zurich Insurance Malaysia Berhad for a few weeks.   However, prior to signing the agreements and submitting payment, we discovered this was all a scam.   Teak Capital has a website, with companies they've invested into, therfore, this company looks legal.  However, we uncovered their scheme.  We are reporting this scheme in order to prevent less savvy companies from being scammed in the future. This is SAD!
