And I have never had any problems. We had our transmission go out on our car a few months ago and it was very expensive to fix. We got a little behind on rent because of this and paid 11 days late one month, and a week late the next month. Her staff was still respectful and understood the situation. Of course we were on time with rent every month prior to the transmission failing, and I am sure that made a difference. You also have to keep communication open and not avoid calls and make excuses every time you talk to them. If you call every month with an excuse, then what do you expect? They cannot pay the property owner with excuses!

I used to work in a property management office, sometimes the excuses you hear from tenants are really crazy, so if someone had a bad experience, I am sure it is not as one sided as the person is saying.

I also had a similar experience with Sarah Athey/Suzanne Athey/Team Athey in Richardson, TX. She is an expert at duping you with professional speak (1 year out of school) and should be taken as the snake oil saleswoman she is. I strongly recommend AVOIDING this nightmare of poor service and questionable character!

Hi, my name is Sarah Athey. As you can see, someone who decided not to be named has written a formal report online slanderizing my name and business. I am sure that anyone can understand that being a property manager of 75 properties is not always the easiest job. Trying to make EVERYONE happy does not always happen. You are going to make some people unhappy sometimes along the way. As sad as it is...the majority of the time when I am evicting someone, they are at fault and want to blame everyone else BUT themselves for their problems. I didn't cause them to not pay their rent....I am only representing an owner that has to feed their family by paying the mortgage on a home with that rent. It is my job to evict someone out of a house in order to save another family's financial standing.

I think that if the person that wrote this report really sat back and thought about who is to blame when it came to them not paying their rent....they wouldn't have written this.

I have a lot of VERY satisified and well paying tenants that get along with me just fine. I truly enjoy my job and I enjoy the people I work with. If anyone is ever worried about what some evicted tenant has said on one of these websites...contact me first! You can tell after talking to me for 2 minutes that I am a very professional and caring business professional. You don't stay in business and be as successful as I have become without having that professionalism. I was indeed raised with an excellent mother that has shown me how to become better and better everday at my job.

So to the person that wrote the report....I am sorry that you feel the way you do, but I do wish that you kept your personal issues to yourself.
