Team Toyota of Baton Rouge scammed us in 1995 and we are still fighting them and Toyota Motor Credit. It will be 3years this Labor Day that we found out that the lease on our truck was a forgery!!!
Seven Years ago we traded a Tacoma truck, which was only 4 months old for a new T100. The contract told to us was to be done as a PURCHASE just like the Tacoma. We had put 5,ooo.oo down and made 3 payments on the first truck. They then asked for a 1,000.00 down payment on the T100. We never were told what the payoff was on the first truck, which also had insurance.
When we got home we found it was a Lease with no Insurance. It was Memorial Day weekend. We called the dealership and of course the salesperson had left. This was Friday. Saturday no one was available and we were asured someone could help on Monday. By that Monday, after having the T 100 only 3 days they couldn't help. The Tacoma was sold, so Mike H. said, and if we were unhappy refinance. He hung up.
Then Mike H. the salesperson/finance manager calls and tells my husband there was a problem and we needed to re-sign the paperwork. We refused telling him to pick up the T 100 and return the Tacoma. He got smart and said again the truck had been sold and he would turn in the original paper work and hung up.
3 years later time to resign the lease, we begin to argue over it all. Their contract did not match ours. I called Toyota Motor Credit and asked them to fax me a copy. The signatures were not ours. Team forged our signatures when we would not go back in. Since then we found out our Tacoma was sold in Late June a month later. The insurance refund checks were sent to Team and cashed. They were not applied to our second loan nor were we given credit.
Toyota Motor Credit when told, said they would not get involved, but guess what they repo the truck on 2 different occassions.
January 2001 the judge ruled on our behalf and the truck was paid off by Team to Toyota Motor Credit. We got the truck, but Team has the tittle. Of course Team has not appealed, because they know they forged the contract. It seems that Team or Toyota Motor Credit don't want to settle. They want to run us out of money! I quote from the owner of Team, " we have better attorneys and more money" that was his reply when I asked him what they were going to do. His offer turn the truck in, walk away. Yea right after all that money.
I will continue to speak out. I can prove what I say and Team well they are a Team in Forgery, Fraud and Embezzlement!!

Everytime I see a Team Car on the road, I say out loud, You got
ripped off!! Team Toyota is a poor excuse for customer service
even when they can't explain two contracts on our T 100!!
The one paid on was not our signatures!!! What about it Team?

T 100 4x4 on the road honk if you love it!!! There will be no
mistaken it, it will look like a billboard and written on it
Team Toyota Forged, Frauded and Embezzled US! TMCC backed them up
and supported them!
