To all who are taking Team USA into consideration for a move, now is the time to reconsider. I 'hired' them approx three weeks ago for a move exactly a week ago. They were to be here on Dec 26 of 2005 for a move from Texas to Connecticut.

That day came and went, then next came and went. I called and spoke to Jason and asked what is the problem. He then transfered me to a woman named Lenorea in dispatch. No one can get a hold of the driver to see what is the problem. I called myself the drivre and never once got a call back. (Moses Moving) They keep telling me they will call back and sort this out.

On New Years eve I couldn't take it anymore. I am leaving in a few days and I am renting my house out. My ennates are here and I need to get out. Miss Lenora tells me that she can't do much because of the Holiday. I simply told her I did not schedule this move on a Holiday. That's not my fault. She told me she can have someone here on January 2nd 2006 at 8AM. GUARANTEED.

It is Jan 2nd 2006 at 3:12 PM. Nothing is going on. They simply can't locate thir drivers!! I am stuck here with my stuff sitting outside in the weather and supposed to leave tomorrow at 12:30. I am at a standstill.

I have no time to get anything else together. I can leave my stuff here and it is too late to change my tickets. I am traveling Amtrak in a bedroom and they need at least a week to change my travel plans.

This Co is heartless. They simply can't do anything. I am more in shock than anything how a Co can still be in business anfter the trouble they have caused so many people. I hope whoever reading this takes my advice and looks else where. It's simplly not worth the stress. I honestly don't know what to do.

Any contact info for Moses Moving?

AUTHOR: Sharon - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Friday, March 31, 2006

Serena, do you have anything on your paperwork (if you have any) from Moses showing a phone number, address, or license number? If so, please list it here. If they are licensed somewhere, you can look up the contact info for their insurer and double check that your claim actually got filed.

Did you ever contact the DOT's complaint line listed above?

The delivery

AUTHOR: Serena - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Friday, March 31, 2006

After weeks going by and endless phone calls we get an answer. Drivers are close and will be delivering any day now. Oh please. They just said that to keep us from calling. About a week and a half go by we get a pone call from someone names 'Jen' and she tells us that the movers are coming and wants 1700 dollars to unload the truck. The thing is in the original quote we would pay the 1700 dollars in addition to the deposit if our belongings weighed at 4000 pounds. We know it doesn't and don't believe that we should have to pay the 1700 dollars. Out stuff weighed at 2700 pounds. How is it I have to pay 1700 more dollars if it was underweight. She is trying to get us to agree on it and I wont. I want to speak with whoever is in charge. She tells me she is turning the truck around and that my stuff will be in storage in Austin, Tx. I immediately call Team USA and ask what in the world is going on? This woman calls me asking for 1700 dollars and I shouldn't owe 1700 dollars. She said she is turning the truck around and threatning to put my stuff in storage. I spoke with Shane and someone named Mark, who both agree that I shouldn't have to pay that if my things really did weigh 2700 pounds. Thats another thing. In the very start of this the person who picked the things up told us that it weighed about 2500 pounds. Everyone we spoke to about it after that had no record of it weighing that and said it only weighed 590 pounds less than quoted for. I knew this was wrong and we later proved it.

Anyway, Shane and Mark get back to me and tell me the stuff in fact weighed only 590 pounds less that quoted and would owe the 1700 dollars still since the truck turned around and now wants money for gas to come back. Hmm, not in my quote and not my problem. We tell them to have the truck here and lets all go to the weigh station and get the correct weight. About 7PM they get here and we go to the weigh stations and it comes to 2700 pounds. So, we were right. That's nowhere near 4000 pounds so we shouldn't have to pay nowhere near 1700 dollars, right? Wrong, they come up with another excuse. Since my move was 'small' I am now being charged more per pound. So basicly they can make the rules up as they go. We were NEVER told that. We were told that is our things weighed less, we would be charged less. Suck crooks. It wasn't until around 10 PM that they started unloading the truck after we paid 1300 dollars.

In the days of unpacking I have so many things missing. DVD's, gamecube, games, floor lamp, TV stands, stero stands, baby clothes, TV, plus so many other things. My dresser couldn't even be unloaded off the truck. It was totaled and in peices. My leather couch is torn, scratched and stained. Everything smelled like raid and took weeks to get the smell out. We filed a claim over a month ago and they still haven't been in touch with us. I called today and everyone is unreachable.

I can say I will NEVER use ANY moving company again. It's the perfect businees to steal and extort money out of people. None of them are honest. I plan to go back to Texas in the next two years and next time I am doing this myself.

It never ends

AUTHOR: Serena - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Sunday, January 15, 2006

Exactly my point. What company would hire another company they know is unlicensed? One who doesn't care. They just want money. Plus it never ended there. I ended up have to leave my belongings OUTSIDE ON MY DECK IN THE FOG!!! I had arrangements to leave on a certain day and had to go. I had to trust these people renting my house and put the burden on them with my belongings. I refunded money on their rent for a storage fee. It was the least I could do.
Team USA can't get anything together. In my entire time of dealing with them no one is able to get in touch with any drivers. That is a bunch of crap. They had one man finaly come out at midnight!! I have to wake my renters up and tell them they are on their way and it's midnight. These people have to work and are going through this for me. Absurd!!
On top of that, Miss Lenora calls me with an attitude about the ferry operations. (I live on an Island) In order to get to my house you must ride the ferry. She calls me saying she is going to charge me more because of the ferry ride. They will charge and this and that. This long stupid story. The part that I love the most about this is my Husband works on the ferry and I have lived in Crystal Beach for 15 years or more and there is no fee for anythihng. My husband couldn't stop laughing. These people are trying to pull one on me and tell me information I KNOW is not true. My husband went to the ferry (only 11 miles from my house) to talk to the ferry operations manager and told the driver on the truck there is no problem. No one is going to be charged. This woman really thought she could get away with that. She had nothing to say when I told her my Husband worked for the Ferry operations. ABSURD!!
Now, here I am on Jan 15 and still this Co. can't get a hold of the driver that has my things. Wed. will be two weeks. I drove here and never had any trouble with my cell phone. I got all my messages and communication was fine. These people don't know what is going on. I have had it. It has been one problem after another with them. Not just the drivers. Trying to make a story up just to get more money. Never getting in contact with any drivers. Rude and deceptive. I am so far into disbelief that I expect something else to happen. Be sure I will be back to write more and let everyone know. Keep checking back.

The may have hired an unlicensed mover for you...

AUTHOR: Sharon - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Monday, January 02, 2006

If the name of the mover is actually Moses Moving, then Team USA hired an unlicensed moving company to perform your move. There is no license listed at the DOT for a company by that name. You may want to call the DOT at 1-888-DOT-SAFT to report them or see if there is any help they can give.
