I am a Los Angeles photographer and was contacted several weeks ago by KATHLEEN KAFASHIAN of "Tearsheets Management". She wanted to know if I would be willing to come down on my price if she would set me up with 3-4 clients a week.
Obviously I said yes. She called me at the last minute and I rushed down to shoot three girls for her little agency in her loft downtown. There was another photographer there shooting as well.
I brought her the disc of photos after she had returned from a trip to San Diego and she wrote me a check on the spot, however asked if I could wait one day to put it through. I did and a week later the check was returned insufficient.
I've now made several attempts to contact her to no avail and found out that the other photographer from that day has not been paid, nor has his makeup artist.
We are taking this B!*$& to court. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH KATHLEEN KAFASHIAN OF TEARSHEETS MANAGEMENT!!
