I received a call from Dexter wanting me to go to my computer and press the window button and r at the same time to bring up my computers ID so I could verify that with him.
He said my Windows computer (I have a Mac not a windows divice) was trying to download malicious or unauthorized materials and my computer was sending out error messages. I got all the info I could to try to check that out and hung up and called Apple Support. Apple Support told me that it was a scam. I don't know what they were after I never ask but I assume they wanted access to my computer and information on my computer.
I told Dexter I would check it out and I hung up and have not received a return call. Dexter called on my land line not my cell.
