I was once a client of Tekconn and after they visited my business and took my drive, they stole my social security number off of it. I realized after I got my computer back from TekConn that a picture of my social security card was on the drive. At first, I thought nothing of it. But a few weeks later, somebody opened a credit card in my name and racked up thousands of dollars on it! I called TekConn and they denied it but later told me the guy who visited my business got fired. Now some crooks have my social security number and who knows what the future holds, thanks to tekconn!

Hello Jack,
Upon a review in our service tracking system, we do not have any records of any described work on a computer related to anyone named “Jack”.
We have been in business for over 12 years and have never had a reported incident of client data theft by an employee, nor have we had to fire any employee over such actions.
In order to minimize the risk of such event, we conduct thorough background checks on all employees, and track all service work conducted in our ticket system.
