CMS - CONSOLIDATED MEDIA SERVICES ripoff ATLANTA Georgia

In january of 03 I had called a number saying I had won or was a finalist in some sweepstakes. So I called the number and they said they would enter me into the sweepstakes. Thats all they talked about it for a while then said i had also won a diamond watch for free.Ok so then I had also won 3 free magazine subscriptions, I told them i dont really read any magazines.

After a while I said ok I'll take the free magazines after much talking they said ok all we ask of you now is to pay a small fee to cover the processing and will send you 2 more magazines. Then even tho I told them I didnt want any magazines they still pushed for them and said all I had to do was if I change my mind is mail back this card theyd send me with what selections they had for magazines i could choose from and they would cancel the subscriptions. so i said fine what do you have he said any magazine you want. I ordered WWE's wrestling magazine and some others that id actually read. From their I gave them my information, big mistake.

Now i get this packet shortly after I talked to these people on the phone. In their is the card to mail back so i felled it out and sent it back that day I got it. I also called them being not to happy with the fact that the magazines i had ordered werent on the list they sent in the mail to choose from. This is what redflagged me right off the bat and told me this was bogus how can they sell me something they don't carry on the phone the guy said yes we dont carry those exact titles would you like something else. I told him no I dont want any of it cancel my account and he told me no problem.

For nine months after that they have called a wanted their money they say I owe them when I go off on them an threaten them with legal action they all say the same thing sorry sir will take this off an clear your account. Also each time they say I owe this huge amount they try pleadbargaining with me over well just give us this much and well erase your balance. Now I know if you owe a company money they arent going to settle for 30% of what you really owe them you try that with blockbuster they don't care if you owe $4 they want it all.

Now here it is 2 years later since they said they had taken care of it an some fishy collection agency calls. I say that because they tried plead bargain for money also saying were just trying to help now ive dealt with a debt collection agency over another issue which i was billed improperly and they didn't bargain with me they listened to what i said and said well just call this number an you should be good. These guys just said their is really nothing you can do.

Well lets just say I didn't send the money and said Im not paying for something I never wanted and had cancelled under their terms. I also stated to them that they never sent what they said which is a breach of contract like the diamond watch and Im sure everyone will love this I did recieve some sort of ebony magazine Im mexican and white why would I order a magazine geared to the african american culture. They might as well as sent me or another minority some arien nation weekly or something.

If anyone one is doing a class action or anything against these people I'm in I don't fight in the U.S. Army to protect people that would sit their and fraud the peoople of their hard earned money
