John Burchert, and Anthony Marlowe, are MCI Worldcom alumni ripoffs. Total Marketing One Makes MCI Worldcom look honest! North Liberty Iowa, New Rochelle, New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania

For those of you who have seen my Ripoff report on Access Direct Telemarketing, Total Marketing One (or TMone) is the name I told you I was about to drop.

Not only does Total Marketing One put Access Direct to shame, they also put MCI Worldcom to shame, which is a hard thing to do. First off: Total Marketing One's founders/owners John Burchert, and Anthony Marlowe, are MCI Worldcom alumni.

They apparently did such a good job of ripping people off there they got enough to start up their own business. Total Marketing One much like MCI sells long distant service, they also sell some dsl service, and are planning on moving more into the internet. In fact they are also doing business to business sales at a new office on Gilbert street in Iowa City.

The primary difference between Total Marketing One, and MCI, is that the former is contracted out by other companies. Currently they are selling New Rochelle Telephone Service, in the New York, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania area. They are also selling American Broadband & Telecommunications long distance, and DSL internet service, in the state of Ohio.

Watch out for these calls if you live in any of these areas. Also watch in the coming days, for me to file seperate rip off reports against these companies.

I am sure many of you will remember television specials saying that convicts are hired to do telemarketing. Total Marketing One may be one step above this. They hire people fresh out of prison, and people who are currently serving out the remaining of their sentence in the neighboring half way house.

There have been two sepeate cases, one for each company, where people That have been called for the umpteenth time have told me that they were asked by one of our represenatives to provide either a social security number, or a valid credit card number.

On one of these cases I was unable to pull up the customers history, on another case I was able to pull up Paul Cox, as the one who sold the lady, getting a social security number, and he was right on my team. He currently resides in a half way house.

The lady said to me,"Could you please erase my social security number. I didn't feel comfortable giving it to the guy, but he said it was a requirement." Not the case. If you are ever sold long distance by a telemarketer(probably not your safest bet) the only thing you are reqired to give is your birthday, or mothers maden name to an independant verifier, and only an independant verifier, not the represenative.

Other people I have worked with have told people they were affiliated with Verizon, which they are not. They have also lied on rates, and told people they would get 3 months worth of free telephone service, they will not get this, because no such offer exists. As I say watch for my seperate reports on these companies, to learn the ins and outs of how you could be scammed.

I also have paper work directly from the company that I will make available to any media interested in exposing telemarketing scams. I will not sell this information, I will give it away for free.

Next on the agenda, the case of sexual harassment I spoke to you about. A Total Marketing One employee, Angelo Lucas, decided to show his p***s to another female employee on the calling floor. Not once but three times. This guy has a slew of drug charges, carrying a concealed weapon, and domestic abuse on his rap sheet.

Just the kind of guy you want calling your home, huh? Makes you wonder what he does when he gets a female contact, whos voice he really likes. At anyrate here is what happened: The female employee reported it to her supervisor. One of the other supervisors told her, "I think he (Angelo Lucas) should be fired, but he's J.B. (John Burchert's) boy.

The female employee was called into a meeting with human resources. She was asked if she would be comfortable, if they kept Angelo Lucas on, but simply moved him to another bay. She said no. A day had passed and the female employee heard nothing as to the outcome of this.

The female employee stayed home the following day and was told by human resources that it was none of her business as to whether or not this guy was fired. HR assured te employee to come back watch and trust, that Total Marketing One would provide her with a safe work enviroment.

The following day the female employee returned to work, and Angelo Lucas not only came in the building, he walked by her station several times. according to a friend of Angelo Lucas's, Paul Cox (suprise) Angelo Lucas was not fired at the time. In fact it wasn't until the upset female employee made a stink that they told Angelo Lucas to leave, that he was. However, not until he had finnished a conversation with his friend Tavian Jordan, who also happens to be Lori Austins boyfriend.

Ms. Austin is a supervisor at Access Direct. Amazing how these people are all linked together, behavior and otherwise. Today Total Marketing One let the female employee go, because she "wasn't at her sales goal." Coincedently enough, in my support of this female employee I was let go for the same reason.

It is Interesting how that Angelo Lucas was number 23 out of 37 people not to high on the totem pole for performance, yet he wasn't fired until someone he had made feel unsafe twice raised kane. The female employee was told it was none of her business if Angelo Lucas was fired, yet the only way I found out is because one of his friends asked my supervisor what happened to him.

Supervisor Andy Cecil, said,"he's fired." I still do not believe a word this company says. It will not surprise me if Angelo Lucas is moved to the new location, or let right back in now that the female employee is gone.

I urge a boycott against Total Marketing One, if you are a business looking to sell your services this is not the company, or people you want doing it. I also urge consumers to boycott New Rochelle Telephone, and American Broadband and Telecom, or any other business that lets Total Marketing One make telephone calls for them.

The best way ofcourse to avoid being scammed is say no to telemarketers, and hang up. However, i know the same companies call you many times in a row.
