TalkAmerica ripoff will not release number, requested 3 months ago still billing Palm Harbor Florida

I requested to have my service cancelled and transferred to another carrier in Oct. but TalkAmerica has totally ignored my request.

After waiting for about a month and nothing happening I called Talk against the future carrier suggestion to see what was going on, and they stated the request had not been rec'd which I know is a lie because they did transfer the secondary line on account but not the main line.

The carrier has resubmitted the ticket on a couple of occasion and still nothing.

My service was even disconnected in this fiasco even though I had paid the bill and i was forced to pay a reconnect fee of 30.00, The line which had been transferred TalkAmerica was still billing me for that line.

This company is some piece of work looks like I might have to use other means because it appears they are not going to continue to hold my number hostage which is totally illegal.
