I am filing this complaint because TelexFree has failed to respond to my request to cancel

my purchase.

I joined TelexFree on March 1, 2014 and paid them $1,425 for an AdFamily Package.

However, due to an unexpected emergency I needed to cancel my purchase. I would like to add,

that on their company website, under "FAQS", in FAQ #24, it clearly states that:

"Can I Cancel a purchase? Yes, according to the consumer protectin law (Law 8.028/80), you have

up to 7 days to cancel the purchase. The promoter who cancels beyond this deadline (purchases made

with credit card of other means) is aware that security system for the CPF is locked and in case you have

other accounts, they will be blocked as well and will only be released upon acceptance of payments with

TelexFree at a rate of 10% of the status of the position."

Besides this, on my invoice for my payment, it clearly says:

"30 days money back guaranteed."

On March 5, 2014, I tried to contact the company but nobody answers the phone. So I

filled out a ticket on my TelexFree back office on March 6, 2014, within the 7 day period of cancellation and 30 day period of money back guarantee. The only response I recieved was "your ticket has been recieved, we will respond briefly."

However, by March 7, 2014 I still have not received any professional explanation of my cancellation request. I also tried sending an email to the company website "contact us" form, and got no response. I sent a personal email to company website email, and got a response stating I need to respond by tickets in my back office, which I already did.

This is why I filed this complaint. I am still waiting for a professional response from this company, and I hope they honor their cancellation and refund policy.

If I do receive a professional response, I will update this report immediately. However, so far I have had no luck getting a response from management of TelexFree company, and I feel for an international company they are extremely unprofessional and do not respond to customer inquiry.

For this reason, I advise anyone who wants to join TelexFree as a promoter (business opportunity) to be aware that it is very difficiult to get in contact with management of this company. If the company fails to honor their cancellation and refund policies, I will update this immediately so other people will be warned before they join.
