Terminix - WEST PALM BEACH Had a swarm of termites end of May, beginning of June 2012, been given run around not service ever since West Palm Beach, Florida

End of May, beginning of June 2012 had a swarm of termites, called Terminix, my "extermination" provider, was told termites were swarming call back in a month if still a problem.  Was still a problem, so called back.  Terminix sent my pest control guy who said he didn't do termites but took a sample back to office, calling me later saying wait another month, if there was still a problem, call back.

  Another month went by still seeing termites, so called, instead of sending termite person, sent the pest control again who still couldn't do anything, but did call the office and schedule a termite person.

   Termite "inspector" came with termite spray, verifying I had a termite problem, he sprayed but said one application might not do it, if I continued to see them, call back in 2-3 weeks to reschedule another treatment.  Continued to see termites.  Couldn't schedule an appointment as their website was broken(made a printout).  Called West Palm Beach office, they couldn't make appointment, so called 800 number.  They made an appointment saying it was for an inspector.  I insisted it was not an inspector I needed but a follow-up spraying appointment---the person on the other end LAUGHED and LAUGHED saying they were sending an inspector.  Before it was over I am sure she knew it was no laughing matter.   

    On the appointed day (8/28/12) two men not in Terminix trucks but with Terminix shirts came to the door.  They said they were there for an inspection.  They did not have any chemicals.  I lost it.  I loudly but not belligerently voiced my complaint as I was handing them my baggie with dead termites and one still running around in the baggie.  They said they would see my problem was taken care of and left.

    On (8/29/12)  I was called and an appointment scheduled for (9/17/12)  for as I was told by the scheduler a fumigator and a manager to come by give me the list of prep, answer questions I had, and schedule a fumigation.

   Yesterday 9/17/12 a Terminix person in a Terminix truck was at my door at the appointed time.  He said he was filling in for someone.  He said he was there to measure the house.  He measured the house, gave me a form, and some bags.  I asked him if he could answer questions and schedule the fumigation, he said he was only to measure the house and showed me his graft.  No one else showed up, no one called.

    This morning when I opened my e-mail I had an e-mail from Terminix heading

  Your Terminix termite treatment is complete  and giving me the information of yesterday's visit of the person who measured the house.

 

    Terminix's run around and lack of service continues.
