I was called texas nissan dearship spoke to khalil Ali the salesman. I stated to him we saw a 2009 or 2010 nissan altima we would like to come and take a look at. He set an appointment for us on Aug 25,2012. We get to the dealership and the first thing he does he pulls a credit report to see what kind of deal he can get done on the car. He came back and said Alonzo will need a co-signer. I stated to him I will not co-sign for a used car especially a 2009. He said okay let me go back and see what other deal can I get made. At that point, I stated to him get our keys to our car and we will try somewhere else. Which is our right to do so. He said well wait let me see what else can do. I continued to ask him for the keys to our keys to our car so we could leave and go elsewhere. He said okay I will get the keys. We walked outside no keys or our car. So therefore, more salesman coming to us stating okay your salesman did not give all the details. He stated let me tell you what I can offer. I said we are done we just want our keys so we can go elsewhere.

At that point I was upset so I ask for a manager. In which never came to see what the problem was. Also at that point I felt harassed and humiliated cause the salesman stated he was not going to get our keys until we test drive a 2012 Nissan Altima. We had ask for the keys for hours no keys to our car. So when the manager final came out he told us to leave. I was upset also at the fact that the manager never said what was the problem or how was our service today. Not only that he jumps in my face and tell us to get out. First I felt as a customer disrepected and harassed like I was forced to buy a car. Your customers comes first not your sale. Being a manager always ask is there anything I can help you with. He never did that. He was yelling very unprofessional.

Thank you from Arizona for your response. I did ask for the keys hours before. That was the only way the guy gave us the keys when I stated that I need the keys and I needed them now. That is when the manager finally came out of his office.

One Of The Oldest Tricks In The Book, But...

The old "keep their keys" game has been around for years.  But I'm a little distressed about something.  WHO ARE YOU?  Let me answer that.  YOU are a valuable human being.  YOU mean something to somebody.  When you walk into a dealership, YOU are the most valuable person there.  YOU are the customer.  Without YOU, they don't make a penny of profit.  But I don't understand one of your statements:  "we had ask for the keys for HOURS". Hours?  Why did you put up with this crap for HOURS?  If you ever, ever, ever again have a similar situation, YOU take charge and YOU don't take any of their crap.  Here's what I would have done and you can probably do it much better. I would have gone into the showroom where other potential customers would be.  I would then say, loud enough for those people to hear, "I told you I am NOT buying ANY car from you people.  You either bring me my keys within two minutes or I call the police!"  Please, don't ever play doormat for any car dealer, ever.  Many do and you'll read their reports here.
