Texas Tollways A Rip Off and Poor Service to boot!!! Austin Texas

I got a bill on 09/21/2013 for a violation that somehow happened on 06/01/2013. The bill included admin fee of $5 for a total of $7.25...so since I have a toll tag, I make the call to question. My expected wait time for customer "service" is 13 mins. So 33 mins later Shaniqua (agent 4687) gets on the line and can't explain why I never got a bill, she is so rude I can't believe this person is in customer service, and she basically tells me I have to pay or it's going to collections. I try to tell her that I have gone through  much more to pay much higher tolls and there is no way I would not have paid a toll that was origionally only $2.25...Shaniqua hen says "are you complaining because it's not more, cause it can be more"! At this point I want to speak to her supervisor because her attitude is beyond belief.

She puts me on hold without saying a thing, and another 8 mins later Melissa (3240)gets on the line and I first tell her she needs to review the recording of 4687's customer service. Then I tell her I'm not disputing the bill, I simply want to know why this was the first notice 3 months later. She says "miss, I can't explain why you didn't pay your bill, I can only explain the charges"...what??? I'm beside myself. Deanna Rush is supposed to be in charge of this outfit, but I'm skeptical to even call her. If these people are supposed to be representing Texas, I'm ashamed to be a Texan. If you own a toll tag, you should be aware (as I am now) there are several "umbrella" companies that work for under it, with their own rules, and shady ways of doing business. I plan on writing some pretty nasty letters to my state rep a about my experience, not that it will do me any good.
