FYI....do not be fooled by their claims of KIDS HORSE and by their video's!!  They are still advertising horses I have seen that have strangles and they are NOT as advertised!  If you want a horse from them...GET A VET CHECK!!  when I asked about having one before I drove up , :Lisa Brewers said she could nt get a vet to come out and her vet wouldnt do vet checks for anyone in case their was something wrong! If someone wont get a vet check, RUN AWAY!   Lisa will also tell you someone is coming and you had better do a $200 deposit by giving her your credit card # or send Western Union Cash!  This Robbie Jones and Lisa Brewers need to be put out of business!  Robbie Jones also is the owner of the akidshorse.com  BEWARE!!

I have bought 3 horses from them

AUTHOR: Wise County - (United States of America)

POSTED: Friday, March 12, 2010

I have bought three horses from this website.  Each time they were completely truthful, allowed me to try any and all horses I liked, and I acually got better than what they were advertising.  The problem with customers of this stable is that most are novice, some have never owned a horse before.  Some got into some money and decided, "hey, riding horses will be fun.  Lets try it."  A horse that is amazingly broke with me, someone who has had horses for years, may turn south due to unknowledgable owners.  I have owned horses who for a few months were well behaved, but when they realized they can test me, and push me around they do.  I had one for 3 months who rode around perfect, then one day bucked till the saddle broke.  Then he did this everytime he was saddled.  Horses are herd animals.  Their natural instinct is to gain a hold in a multi level totem pole.  When they realize the person is not the alpha they begin to be the boss.  This can be tragic to those easily intimidated or who do not know how to correct this.  I handle my horse fine, but he bites my husband or postures to my stepson.  A horse is a living animal, with a brain.  They are unpredictable and are capable of personality changes just like us.  With that said, vet checks are the responsibility of the buyer.  They did the correct thing to  cover themselves as far as liablility.  If they arranged for the vet check and something happened, like a horse I bought from a private seller who had congestive heart failure within a week of bringing him home, then you could say it was a rigged check.  YOu should bring a trusted vet of your own, or arrange the check with a neutral vet yourself.  It is your responsibility as the buyer.  They are an open buisness.  If you really want the horse, and someone has called and said they are coming to look at that horse, that is a courtesy to you to suggest a down payment.  You can transfer the deposit to another horse if you dont like it.  People come and go constantly there.

Well, I bought a horse from them and could not be more please with the mare I bought. They told me I could do a vet check and I did. The horse passed. I think you are a very sad person. Look you called them, They did not call you. Yes if you do not what a horse sold before you get there, put a deposit on it. I did and if I didn't like the horse I could use the deposit on a new horse of my choice. You gave them the money so why is it their fault. I am so sick of people taking the bad decision and make it someone elses fault. They told me the truth on the horse I purchased. Please people and start taking responsibility for your own actions. I think the world would be a better place....... Carol Dunby from Houston Texas

Ps. I just took my horse on a trail ride and had a good day...........
