Thacker Berry Farms and Claudia and Ted Coupon for free strawberries is a scam/sham Hiuntington Beach California

Thacker Berry Farms uses a promo for free baskets (3) of strawberries every time you fill one of their frequent buyer cards with your purchases.  You fill in the back of the card with name/address and they are supposed to mail you a coupon to be received within 5-7 days.  After I didn't receive the coupon for the free strawberries, I went to the stand to inquire and was told by Scott (the person at the stand) to give it a few more days.  I gave it another week, more than three in all; still, no coupon.  (He says the name and address on the back of the frequent buying card must be legible for mailing the coupon.  I assured him I wrote in block letters and my handwriting is extremely legible.)

After three weeks and no coupon, I returned to the fruit stand and talked to Scott.  Scott said he couldn't help me and I should call Claudia (562) 244-0486 or Ted (562) 244-0485 at Thacker Berry Farms and ask whyI hadn't received my coupon and if they could get me one.  I called Claudia yesterday.  No big surprise; she didn't return my call.  I went on the web-site and sent a message through their system.  Again, no big surprise; no response. 

So here I am warning all of you to buy your starwberries and fruit somewhere other than Thacker Berry Farms and their fruit stands.  They will lure you in with their frequent purchase program and take your money but you will not receive any coupons/credits or free fruit.  It's a scam.

Yes, I realize it's just a few baskets of strawberries but there's a principle involved.  I don't do business with liars, scam artists and people who engage in taking advantage of others and neither should you!
